I was sent thru the V.A. to Dr. hill for chiro of the neck and migraines from Iraq head injuries. My regular acupuncturist left island so I didn’t think Dr. hill could possibly match her. She did help me a lot (I still miss the 5-​element technique of my former doc but she was a ‘one and only’:)
My migraines and neck pain was improved to the point where the headaches lessened in intensity and number of them… My appointments ‘ran out’ and the headaches gradually came back. I finally got an appointment to continue treatment and hope the pueking and headaches will stop again soon! she is a very caring doc, listens, tries a lot of holistic things and the others there and staff all seem HAPPY. That makes a big difference in any healing modality. Other acupuncturist ‘cattle farms’ in Kailua were horrible. Glad I found Dr. hill – and even better, that the V.A. approved her!

I can’t say enough great things about this practice! I have been going here for 3 years and have seen both Dr. Hill and Dr. Aren for chiropractic care. They have totally different styles and both are amazing. Dr. Hill also does acupuncture.
The massage therapists are a dream. Especially Chris! He, along with both chiropractors, has improved my quality of life. My neck and back feel great.

Dr Michelle Hill is amazing! I have been going to her for a few years now and she has seen me for a variety of issues, including lower back problems due to surfing injuries, grinding teeth and related jaw and neck trouble, pregnancy related issues, muscle stiffness… the list goes on. She is so friendly and warm, as are the office staff. She takes the time to listen and visits never feel rushed. The space is incredibly clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. I love that she is qualified in both acupuncture and chiropractic care as the combination ALWAYS results in relief. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful doctor.

I prefer to see a good chiropractor and acupuncturist rather than a «western MD» whenever I have any type of ailment and I’ve been going to Windward Wellness ever since Dr. Michelle Hill started her practice there. I’ve seen Dr. Hill for chiropractic, acupuncture and active release therapy and she is great at all of them! I love that she can determine which treatment is the best fit for me at that particular time.
I’ve successfully been treated for sinus colds, headaches, menstrual cramps, injuries from a bike/​car accident, allergies, sports injuries, asthma, you name it, when something came up I’d see a chiropractor and/​or acupuncturist and it always helps me tremendously. In fact, I don’t know why people deal with pain meds, muscle relaxers, and whatever else is toxic to the body when they can go get an «adjustment’ or acupuncture and be on their way to better health so much faster and safer. It truly baffles me that more people don’t seek out these modalities that have been around for centuries and are proven to work!
I recently hurt my back and Dr. Hill was not able to see me so she referred me to Paige Markham, one of the other acupuncturists in her clinic. Paige was great too!
I was also having some anxiety about not being able to move while the needles were in but Paige made me feel very comfortable, she told me that I could move and she asked the receptionist to come in and just chat with me until I felt comfortable.
In just a matter of a few minutes I felt fine, I was comfortable and I even dozed off! Paige came in several times to check up on me. Thanks Paige!
Just from that one session the spasms in my back stopped and I felt a lot better. It’s good to know that Dr. Hill has other expert healers in her clinic and I would recommend both of them. Actually, my husband saw Dr. Alina for an injury and he really liked her too! So there you have it, I think anyone you see at Windward Wellness would be a sure thing!

Dr. Aren Vivieros is amazing! Very comfortable and professional. I love the fact that he teaches me what I can do to make my injury better instead of just giving treatments. I recommend him to everyone!

My husband and I saw dr Aleena for chiropractic and acupuncture she’s amazing I was having neck and sciatic issues from sitting on a five hour flight. After just 2 sessions I feel great. I also saw Chris for a massage. I am also a massage therapist and I can tell you he knows what he’s doing gave just the right amount of pressure and worked exactly what I needed. If I had one complaint it’s that they’re too far away from Nevada. I would highly recommend this office. Oh and the office staff was warm and friendly. We will definitely go back next time we’re in Hawaii.

Let me start by saying that I used to be a real Western medicine kinda guy, I was very skeptical of acupuncture, so I went into my first treatment with a lot of doubts. After just one treatment my chronic shoulder and ankle pain felt so much better and I was able to stop my regiment of Aleve. I had long accepted the fact that I would live my life in pain from building a big body on a small frame and playing over a decade of football; but thanks to Windward Wellness now I know I don’t have to.
I receive treatments from the acupuncturist Paige and it is an incredible experience. If you’re like me and not a big needle fan Paige immediately puts you at ease and let’s you know it’ll be just fine. Paige has a very calming and caring demeanor that really sets the tone for your treatment. She asks many questions about your health and works to address all your issues. Most recently I saw Paige when I was really run down and feeling sick with fever. She gave me acupuncture and then told me exactly when and how my fever would break… and she was spot on. I was so impressed.
I have yet to try the chiropractic treatment at windward wellness but I have heard great things and certainly will in the near future.

I’ve been «turned» into a believer in the use of massage and chiropractic adjustments to naturally relieve pain, eat nutritionally health promoting foods and maintain a healthy lifestyle. It started with weekly sessions for a couple of months and as I got more pain relief, my sessions have been reduced to once a month maintenance (which is almost «pampering») to address little aches and pains.
What I like about Windward Wellness is knowing that I can trust in the care and support that I receive. Dr. Michelle Hill is dual licensed in chiropractic treatment and acupuncture, if I’m not mistaken, I think that she’s the only one on Oahu. She is friendly and professional. Her smile can disarm your stresses when you speak to her and her touch is «healing». She really listens to your health concerns. Then, she begins to manipulate your body and somehow, within seconds, she pinpoints that «problem (s)». She’ll work on and around the problems and will apply acupuncture needles to further enhance the treatment. You can also add a 10-​minute «warm-​up» massage so your body is more relaxed/​prepared to receive treatment benefits. Thanks to massage therapists, Lindsay and Chris, I’ve gotten so relaxed that I’ve fallen asleep while having my treatments!
Even sitting in the waiting room is relaxing with its trickling water feature, low lights, bamboo flooring, eye-​calming green walls and often contemporary Hawaiian or ethereal music playing in the background. Luckily, I also enjoy the beautiful scenic drive over the H-​3 so my relaxed state is continuous.

Husband was having terrible pain around his rib cage. As an experienced LMT it was really frustrating when I could not help him… I just KNEW he had a rib out. Sure enough, there were 2 out of whack! Dr. Hill was able to work her magic on him and get those suckers back where they belong. Thanks Dr. Hill.

Since discovering Dr. Hill at Windward Wellness I’ve referred many of my personal clients to her and every single one have come back with rave reviews however a few inadvertently went to another chiropractic place in Kailua who is using «Windward Wellness» in their facility name… Its a totally different establishment! Go to Windward Wellness located @ Pali Palms Plaza in Kailua.

Again another wonderful experience by Rachel. She or the clinic staff must have totally read my last review because the massage was on point.
This time I filled out an intake form, they must have forgot last time since I arrived right on time instead of a few moments early. I was offered my hug pillow. And there was only communication about the massage.
The massage itself was fabulous! Even better than last time. There was immediate attention to my number one problem area and extra time spent on my secondary problem. While Rachel worked on my arms she even put an oshibori behind my neck to warm it up for the neck massage. I did not even realize my neck was that tight.
After the massage Rachel even gave me pointers for how to correct things that might be contributing to my problem areas.
This was an absolutely awesome massage and can’t wait to return on Saturday.

I am an MD and found when my colleagues were unable to help with my neck and shoulder issues, Dr Hill with a combination of ART and acupuncture was able to get me back in the game. The staff is awesome too. Thank you.

After enduring many weeks of physical therapy and taking medication to help relieve my pinched nerve in my left shoulder, I finally sought relief when I visited Dr. Michelle Hill at Windward Wellness in Kailua.
Windward Wellness is located in an office building that is bordering the canal in Aikahi with plenty of free parking.
This place specialize in not only chiropractic services but acupuncture as well. Dr. Hill is the only chiropractor on Oahu who is licensed to do both treatments. Acupuncture is a painless procedure where needles are placed in acupuncture points in your skin. Once the needles were in place I did not feel a thing. It is an added benefit to receive both treatments in one session as it helps to speed up the healing process and promote an even energy flow.
Dr. Hill first adjusts the affected area by working and applying pressure, then she places needles in various areas on my back for 20 – 30 minutes. Once the needles are in place I immediately feel my body going into a relaxed state.
All it took was several visits and my pinched nerve slowly healed and went away. I was suffering from the burning nerve pain day after day for six long months until I had to seek treatment as I found out nerve pain does not go away on its own. It was so severe and unbearable that standing, walking, sitting and driving made it very difficult as my only relief was lying flat on my back.
To this day I have been pain free… thanks to Dr. Hill.

Dr. Hill is one of the best at chiropractic and acupuncture. I was a patient of hers and worked for her prior to leaving Hawaii. I now live in Chicago where it has been more than difficult to find a chiropractor that is dual licensed and one who takes the time to work on your problem areas (i.e. back, neck and shoulder pain). You can trust her and feel comfortable knowing that your condition will improve. She provides sound advice to help you with your diet, exercise, and overall well being. The office setting is relaxing and located on the tip of a canal that stretches into beautiful Kailua beach. Truly breathtaking views. She offers a number of services such as massage therapy and can refer you to a great physical therapist if needed. I wish I still lived in Kailua so I could find the relief for my back that she provided. Look no where else and let her help you relieve the ailment you may be suffering from.
