For years now I have purchased 1 or two full chords of firewood anywhere from April Through July from Handley’s Tree Service. Always professional service and they call me when they are on their way. I’ve always been happy with the wood as classified as hardwood even though a few sticks of popple sneak in too. I’ve never felt shorted on a chord but if I can make up a criticism it would be they include too many large pieces for my taste. I deal with it and am grateful their services are available. Also, I’ve done some woodworking and gone to Handley’s for rough cut cherry lumber which they’ve planed smooth for me too… Beautiful! Thank you Handley’s — you do good work.
