History

Established in 1986.

Michelle Thrill began Critter Sitter in 1986. She built an amazing foundation and passed the torch on to Donna Montemore who made many great strides to further the business including developing a sytem of online reservation requests and changing the model to incorporate independence for the professional pet sitters that we serve. In 2008 Donna again passed the torch on to the current owner, Stacy Flannery. With professional animal training running in the family, Stacy is happy to accept the challenge of carrying the torch of Kansas City’s longest running professional membership for pet sitters.

This is my seventh year of business as owner of Critter Sitter Connection. I answer the business phone, arrange get acquainted visits, and manage the pet sitters on our team to match them perfectly with Kansas City pet owners. My love of dog training began as a child watching how my grandmother worked with her dog. I volunteered as a Jr. Keeper at the Lakeside Nature Center while growing up in Raytown. While in college studying Biology and Chemistry, I was a member of the wolf research team. I have studied animal communication extensively and have a gift for it. I look forward to hearing from you.
