History

Established in 1976.

Dan Lawrence String Instruments was established in 1976 as a home based business serving string players in the Kansas City area. In 2000 we moved to the Lee’s Summit area and have continued to grow, eventually adding our son Jesse, a violinist, to the staff. He brings his repair and restoration skills as well as his knowledge of the instrument from a player’s standpoint.
