H&R Block

Never been to H&R block before but decided to file my return here this year. Just a simple W-​2. Person who did my taxes kept getting red flags and had to redo stuff in the computer again and again. A manager had to help and still had trouble. They kept saying it was because its a new program this year. Took over an hour but I ended up refusing to file with the because they wanted to charge me an outrageous $ 200. I also know that with regards with my to my income and tax credits I should have gotten a return. I know this because when I filed with tax slayer I got a return. So not only did they try to charge a huge fee for doing my taxes they did them incorrectly.

I called H&R Block because I took a fellowship position in KC, and was confused by some of the tax requirements. I did a ton of research online, and consider myself pretty intelligent, but wanted to double check and make sure I had everything completed correctly. So I googled tax centers near my home, and this one poppep up. I made an appointment and met with Laurel. She went above & beyong my expectations and explained everything to me as she went along, so I learned quite a few things along the way. I can’t say enough good things about her and my experience. Any of my tax questions, concerns, and future needs will definitely be handled by Laurel.
