Repairs: We repair a wide array of small appliances including blenders, carpet steamers, coffeemakers, lamps, mixers, Power Wheels vehicles, electric shavers and razors, toasters and toaster ovens, and vacuums. We also sharpen knives, gardening tools, mower blades, electric hedgetrimmer blades, and gas powered hedge trimmer blades.

I called and they very quickly determined that they had the part I needed. They also showed me how the part they stocked had been improved over the prior incarnations of the part.
They costs run about 15−20% higher than ordering online but that’s a small price over the ease of a return and having the part immediately.

My Whirlpool Duet dryer stopped heating. Called a repair company that specializes in Whirlpool and told them the details and said I was 99% certain it was just the heating element. After some more wishy washy conversation, I was informed it would be $ 80 service call, plus follow up call, plus parts, plus labor, plus whatever else charge for a grand total of around $ 350+ for the heating element repair. I said thanks I will consider it. Next day went to Marbek Appliance, purchased a new $ 39 heating element, went home, watched a YouTube video on how to change it, and did it in less than 30 minutes. THANKS MARBEK APPLIANCE FOR SAVING ME A BOAT LOAD OF CASH! :) The only reason why I don’t give it 5 stars is because the service people aren’t super personable. Professional enough but not very personable. So if you can tolerate that and are fine with saving lots of money to do it yourself, then Marbek is the place to go!

The Marbeck website list this store as a repair center for Electrolux vacuums. I went in and was rudely told that they only service Electrolux vacuums that were bought at that location. I won’t be back.

I have not been to Mar Beck since it left Waldo. I was a little upset, I admit it. Long ago, this was the place to go. I realize, it still is. Where else can you go to when your blender is broken? Or when you need your vacuum needs to be cleaned. I am a OCD person. But, completely cleaning my vacuum in a condo — not going to happen. Maybe if I lived in a house with a garage? But, I digress — they have all types of great gadgets and gizmos. They also can fix and clean you old gizmos. They also do it with great customer service and don’t make you feel like a idiot because you don’t know any better with the technical stuff or you just don’t want to break all that down.

Buying local is not for the faint of heart. This year, the Unilocal challenge kicked my butt however, I feel the payoff has been totally worth it, MarBeck was one of them. Who knew that KitchenAid had so many different styles of stuff?
I got schooled in quart measurements.
On my first visit, I was that crazy person. The one on the phone who is frustrated and trying to get an answer and knows she won’t. The gentlemen at the counter took it all in stride, helping as much as they could at that point but not shooing me away (as they should’ve.lol.)
The next day, calmerity prevailed, (That’s calm + clarity.) I got in, gave some specs and we came up with a plan… We could get the item in 5 – 6 days. Oh, Lord, here we go again. It was then, the gentleman at the counter came up with the perfect plan… he sold me the floor model! I was so grateful! I didn’t have to show up empty handed! Butt = Saved.

I tried using this businesss a year ago and was so unhappy wrote a letter and called for the manager and owner– neither of who returned my calls. I was desperate to get a handle for my washer. Went to the store with all my info and a drawing. Was treated like crap there, acted like I was just totally inconviencing them to help me order a part.
Took over a week to get the knob and then I wasn’t sold the correct parts and to top it off I called talked to the most rude Diana and was told to call Sears and that I wouldn’t be able to return the knobs even if they didn’t fit. No wonder people just go on line and do business. There I got the part I needed. I will be contesting the charge on my charge card.
I will never step foot in another Marbeck Appliance store and will share my experience with everyone I hear planning on going in there. I see the Waldo location has closed– wouldn’t surprise me to see more of them close if thats how they treat customers.
