Fantastic. Super organized on their appointments, always very timely, reasonably priced, honest, friendly, and they play skate videos while you wait. My boyfriend got his alternator, spark plugs, and a list of other things done and was way cheaper than we expected. My car needed an inspection and they got me in for an appointment the next morning and I was in and out in 30 minutes.

Fast, fair and friendly; they took my car in immediately when it was quitting on me. Very pleased with their service.

Kyle rocks it on price and quality work! He fixed our Honda under the price he quoted and its running better than ever. Makes you want to go back.

Pat and Bret were amazing when our family of 4 was stranded in KC while running the 2016 Hot Rod Power Tour! They tried working their connections to get a rear axel bearing in on Friday to fix us up all in one day. When this didn’t work out, Pat took time away from his family and opened the shop up just for us on Saturday. He got us fixed up, loaded up with swag, and on the road! To top it off, the great work and service was at a fair price. It was an opportunity to price gouge that Pat didn’t take. An example of a great shop and wonderful people. I hope to see Pat and his family on the 2017 Hot Rod Power Tour since it usually starts where it finishes the year prior. Hot rodders are special people!

Honest, friendly, and stellar mechanics. These guys are truly top shelf. I would not take my car anyplace else. My daughter took her car in for a new battery, and they knocked two dents out of her car for free. They answer questions via email quickly when I have emailed them. My mom used to swear by her dealer. No more. She loves this place because the mechanics stand by their work 100%. Prices are reasonable too. I recommend KC Autoworx to all my friends. If you need any car work done, this is the place to go. Hands down.

These guys seriously rock! I have had several things repaired by them on my Subaru Outback and their service is outstanding. Car stuff is always a pain but they are so nice and always really try and figure out the problem and give a fair price.

Just moved to the area and needed someone to service my vehicle. Looked to Unilocal and found these guys. I messaged a couple other businesses but the guys here were the only ones who gave me an actual quote through Unilocal.I gotta say all these reviews are right, these guys do a bang up job at a reasonable price and they treat you fairly.
I put about 70,000 miles a year on our company vehicle and theses guys will be getting all my business from now on.

I just had to stop in and say that the guys working today were SO nice and very accommodating to me. Brett was who helped me at the front desk, and I’m sorry that I didn’t catch the other mans name so I could mention him as well. I took my vehicle in for an inspection and ended up with a few surprises (isn’t that how it normally works?) The guys were very helpful and patient with me, as I don’t know anything about cars. They took me and physically showed me what I needed fixed and were helpful in advice and finding quotes. I liked that they didn’t push me to blow a bunch of money at once, they let me know which was the most important to fix first and which problems would be good to get done at the same time. The mechanic also propped up my window for me that fell down until I could get the motor fixed.
I had a really pleasant experience and will go to them for any car issues I have from here on out. Thank you guys!

These guys are good and fast and know what they are doing. My car was having «transmission» issues and thought for sure I was going to have a large repair bill. Nope! They found the real problem and had it fixed in less than two hours and the repair bill was so reasonable I could hardly believe it. I am going to give these guys the first crack at anything that goes wrong with my car in the future. Great job guys!

I cannot overstate my trust in Autoworx. Pat and his team took such good care of me that THEY TALKED ME OUT OF EXPENSIVE REPAIRS because their cost exceeded the car’s salvage value. They coached me on how to sell my car instead. They saved me so much money I don’t know how to thank them.
They lifted my dying Volvo and walked me underneath it to explain every last problem it had. They suggested how I might go about selling it for the best price and what scams to avoid.
This honesty was a BIG deal to me, as a 22 y/​o female, who is often scammed at auto repair shops. I was treated here with dignity, respect, and class. Compare that to other businesses who don’t think I know anything about auto repairs; let’s just say that I’ve learned a lot about my car after being scammed a few too many times. Many, many thanks to Autoworx — I’ll be coming back again and again.

Stopped by for vehicle inspections. We were pleased by a super clean and fun lobby with vintage car oriented décor! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We walked away with our inspections done, advice on an unrelated car problem AND a new mechanic whenever we need one. Highly recommended!

After the guy I trusted moved his shop out of the city and to an inconvenient location, I flailed about for a couple years, taking my car to various places and always feeling like I was basically getting screwed. I would get diagnoses that demanded extremely expensive repairs, which I would agree to, then the repair wouldn’t fix the symptoms. Or I’d go somewhere for an inspection and be told I needed an extremely unusual and expensive repair in order to pass, then take it somewhere else and they’d say it was fine: pass! Once I had a guy try to upsell me iridium spark plugs by literally telling me that if I didn’t buy the vastly more expensive iridiums I might as well not even change the plugs.
So it was with great pleasure I brought my car in here with what I was pretty sure was a serious brake problem. The awful grinding was far beyond what you’d expect from just worn pads or rotors. When I was informed that it all needed replaced, I wasn’t terribly surprised, the price was not unreasonable, and the work was done quickly.
The next time I had a car issue involved my ABS acting very strangely. What I assume was a pump or something refused to shut off when I shut off my engine. I thought it odd, but figured it was just busy doing something and surely it would shut itself off. Well, it didn’t, and the next morning the battery was completely dead. It wouldn’t jump and I couldn’t even get it to push start, so I had it towed in, dreading the probable reality that I’d have to replace the entire (expensive!) ABS module.
Turns out, they couldn’t duplicate the problem. There were no codes. They charged the battery and I was on my way. They could have easily told me I needed a new ABS module, and I have a feeling most of the garages I’ve dealt with would have. That they didn’t… suffice to say, I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else anytime soon.

Where else can you watch skate videos and listen to some jams while you get your car worked on? Enough said. But if you need to hear more, they’re affordable, honest, and appointments are easy to get. Also I hear they have a Coke machine now.

I called for an oil change and they fit me into their busy schedule. They have a promotion for a $ 29.98 oil change right now. I also got two new wiper blades. Total: 60 something dollars. No pushing, no nonsense. Their set up is cool, very «car-​guy» oriented.

I needed to do a little custom work on my Miata to prep it for being towed behind our RV. Most of the shops I already knew in the area either weren’t comfortable with the work that needed to be done or couldn’t get me scheduled in for weeks. So I popped in to Unilocal to see who might be recommended and found these guys.
They were absolute pros throughout the entire process. Brett and I chatted about what I wanted done and he and his guys did a little research to confirm we wouldn’t run in to any problems, and then agreed they could do it. They were able to get me in pretty quickly, kept me updated throughout the day, and checked in with me when they had questions about whether or not some of the work really needed to be done (which, of course, would have saved me some money!). Their prices were great and the car was done in no time. The shop was spotless, everyone I talked to was friendly, and they all seemed to love what they do. Hard to beat that.

They are very honest and not pushy. I don’t feel like they are trying to rip me off or take advantage of me. I honestly feel like they care about me and genuinely want to make sure my car is working properly. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!

I got nothing bad to say, let’s be honest cars are a liability not an asset and as such can hit the wallet pretty hard. If you have to go to a mechanic why not these guys, fast, efficient, nice and they seem pretty competitive in their prices.
Sometimes i really despise that i fall into the Stereotype of another female who knows nothing about cars but you know what I’m over it. It helps that they explain it all, it helps even more that they put it in print. When they’re talking I try to pretend like it’s not some foreign language and than go home and Google everything. I really appreciate that they they don’t smirk while their talking to me, will done fellas, well done.

The techs were awesome. I have a less-​than optimal 1990 Jeep that had an old 2-​barrel carb complete with a horrifying «rat’s nest» of an engine compartment. They replaced my carb without issue.
Clean lobby, fair price, quick and friendly. Most importantly for me though was their sense of humor… especially considering the mess I pulled into their garage. They also have some cool swag for you to grab on the way out. Would totally use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for honesty and quality work.

I’ve had my Jetta in there a couple times now, once for a new tire and recently for a burnt out headlight.
They fix things fast. They fix things right. They don’t try to cheat you. They don’t charge you for minor follow-​ups.
I went to auto supply store to check out the headlight issue. The guy at the desk tried to sell me the wrong headlight, and it was going to cost $ 22. I took it to Autoworx and they put in the right headlight for $ 25. Worth it!!!
