Can’t say enough good things about Captain Tim. The new boat ‘Hapa Girl’ is so comfortable and fun to be on. His lovely wife Liana was the perfect first mate and second mate Rocket Dave made the trip a highlight of our stay on Molokai

My husband and I recently went snorkeling and deep sea fishing on Captain Gig’s charter with Tim, Brian and Tim’s brother. We had a great time! Tim and his crew were friendly and knowledgeable! We would recommend using Captain Gig’s Charters!

Captain Tim is a great guy who knows his stuff. He can point you to the best fishing spots. We had a great time, caught some awesome fish and have plenty of stories to tell. Also have to mention, he helped us out with finding everything on the island. He really went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out. Can not say enough amazing things about this guy. Definitely check them out!

Tim and Liana are amazing. My brother and I hired them to help us across the channel to Oahu for a race. As you might imagine two guys racing across a channel are high on tension and hyper focused on being fast. Tim and Liana kept us safe, fueled and on course. The two of them are pros. They made our race and our vacation. I can’t say enough good things and totally agree with the review by Juice B on ¹²⁄₂. So whether you are doing something serious that you have trained months for or are heading around Molokai for fun — consider Captain’s Gig.

The Captain’s Gig Charters was top notch! Captain Tim Brunnert and his mate (actually «Admiral») Liana provided us a once in a lifetime experience showing us the world famous cliffs of Molokai’s north shore.
The Captain’s Gig is a former US Navy vessel that is outfitted with safety in mind and is quite stable even in big water. We encountered the commonly turbulent «Washing Machine» when rounding the NE corner of Molokai by «Turtle Rock», and Captain Tim and boat navigated the seas masterfully.
Tim and Liana regularly checked in on passengers’ welfare, and made sure all were comfortable. They answered many questions about fishing, navigating Molokai’s waters, island history/​local flavor, snorkeling amongst many other topics. For the faint of stomach, the boat was well equipped with remedies to aid those needing assistance with seasickness.
Though we primarily set out to see north shore, Captain Tim had 3 lines out for big game fish. It was pretty clear that he loved to be out on the water! He mentioned taking folks out for whale watching, snorkeling trips, sight-​seeing and fishing trips. Our trip was custom made for us, so I’d recommend giving Captain’s Gig Charters a shout to see what they could do for you!
