I ordered the Bacon double cheeseburger. The regular Burger is a double. Patties are thinner than most places but it doesn’t detract from the experience. The burgers taste great and the shoestring fries are crispy and delicious. I would definitely return.

I am a fan of the Freddy’s franchise and have eaten at multiple locations in many states, but this particular location has disappointed me a few times. The shoe string fries are amazing when they’re fresh, but here I’ve gotten clearly old fries in the drive-thru as well as not completely cooked burger patties — which is surprising because the patties are so thin. I will continue to eat at Freddy’s, just most likely not this location, which is sad because it’s the closest one to my house.

It’s not my favorite place for a burger. They smash the patty down real thin, and it was just strange to me. The fries were shoe string and crunchy which I did really like. I just felt you could drop by a small burger place that wasn’t a franchise that would be a lot better. However, I didn’t try the custard so I will be back to give those a try. As for the burgers I might eat before I got there.

This review is for their food and NOT their custard(I give their custard 4+ stars). Had a burger, chili dog, and fries. Hot and avg size and price, but unfortunately avg taste. Grab food elsewhere, but save room for a concrete here: try the vanilla with PB cup a d extra Hot Fudge on top. Yum.

I’m torn on what to leave. I really want to like this place, the owner is very involved with schools and supports them. But the food I guess is what I’m rating. The burgers are very thin patties and they double or triple them up to get to a normal burger. The meat they don’t pack it together very well and so when you look at your patties they are falling apart or full of holes and gaps. I think this is similar philosophy to a White Castle. My burger was the bacon and cheese double steal burger. The bacon was pointless, the thinest bacon I’ve ever seen and could barely tell it was there. The vegetables do seem to be fresh. Had lettuce and onions as well as pickles. Their pickles are long cut and are crisp and good. Together the burger was very salty(from the over seasoned patties). They give you a wheel barrow full of French fries and they are of the thin cut style and are ok. The kids got sundaes and all thought they were awesome. All in all I feel for the quality of food it seems over priced. Our total for 5 would of been $ 45 if we hadn’t had coupons for the 3 custards. For that five guys or smashburger are better burgers. Layout of restaurant is backwards. The counter that feels you should pay at is where you pick up your food. I guess all the other fast food places have us trained well. I’ll probably come back to support the local owner. And if I do I’ll try the Philly cheesesteak. Picture they have looks good.

Freddy’s is an old fashion themed diner that sells steak burgers and custard. I really enjoyed their food here. Although I didn’t get a burger as I had eaten not to long beforehand, I got a large fry while to my surprise came in a huge portion. I went with my mom and she got the A1-Steak Burger which I think is a limited time burger. We both enjoyed our food, even more with the wait-staff making it a better experience as well. I got the Dirt & Worms Concrete and she got the Dirt & Worms Sunday. Even for a mini concrete it was still I good amount of custard. Overall the food is a little on the pricy side but it makes up with excellent and relatable staff and good portions, defiantly a great experience.

I’ve driven past this place for years and we always talk about going. Today we finally did and I was definitely impressed and satisfied! The burgers were delicious and the shoestring fries were crispy(although a little too salty for my taste, but I am really sensitive to salt). The onion rings were done to perfection! The people here were so nice and helpful! We finished off by ordering custard. I had a regular PBC& B(vanilla custard with peanut butter cup pieces and banana) which was off the charts amazing! Glad I didn’t order a larger size, I wouldn’t have been able to finish it. Definitely recommend this place! Not sure why they only had 3 stars.

I love burgers and I love Freddy’s burgers! They are always so yummy and hit the spot. The custard is a must try as well but beware it is so addictive. When Kailey’s had a tough day I am always sure to stop by on my way home and pick her up a quart. I don’t eat inside often but a couple of times I have it does have a strange smell. So I try to avoid dinning in.

Awesome experience. A friend from Kansas City told me about the chain. Very unique burger for sure and yummy tasty. Suggest you give it a whirl! They had a special on at the time which was funnel cake and it was every bit as good as what you would get it at a state fair

I’ve not been to this location before however even assuming a busy day i was disgusted on how dirty this place was plus an empty ice machine, multiple dirty tables that no one was tending to, empty katchup… We ask that someone come and wipe down our table and I showed them which table we were sitting at. The person that they sent over started cleaning the tables around us and we had to intervene and request that our table finally be wiped. Both my son and my husband nearly slipped and fell because there was so much wet grime on the floor. There was trash everywhere. I understand how a rush happens however I also understand that the manager needs to come out of the office and assess the place during this time and people need to be tasked with keeping things up to par during the busy time.

I love a good cheeseburger and fries. And when I can follow it with amazing custard sundaes, it’s even better. The shoestring fries that they serve are fantastic — crisp on the outside, but not overdone. The fry sauce is good too — reminds me of the fry sauce they serve in the Salt Lake City area. Employees are super friendly, if not always accurate. I think my custard sundae order got lost, but it wasn’t any big deal. We just ate while we waited for it, and took it to go. For fast food, which I generally avoid, this was pretty awesome.

Freddy’s gets 5 stars from me! :) I came here with a group of people(about 5 of us) and one person’s order got messed up and by the time that order arrived at the table everyone was finished eating. The manager apologized and gave the whole table free dessert/custard! Great customer service, great burgers, and awesome custard! Will definitely return in the future!

We get custard here often. Stay away from the burgers that are so thin they look like a meat doily. Not kidding.

Overall a decent place for a burger and fast food. Custard is good and selection of food a good. Service when busy is slow and need to be improved. The sauces add a little something extra for the fries which are better than average already so a step above you fast food chains. Worth a try.

Decent food, slow service. In the first visit they cooked the rest of my parties food but forgot to put mine in the fryer, having to wait an extra 8 min. I have noticed multiple times going through the drive through that even when a person orders one custard it takes 10 min from the speaker to when they get the custard. I asked for mint custard instead of chocolate in my desert last time but the just added a small drop at the bottom of the cup and filled the rest with chocolate

I tried very hard to find something positive about my experience but failed utterly. I ordered two«concretes» which are basically just frozen custard sundaes with the toppings mixed in. They took over 15 minutes to make even though the parking lot was deserted(it was a week day and nowhere near closing time). Generally I would not wait that long but I had already paid and kept reassuring myself that it would be out at any moment. What I finally received were two cardboard cups rather than the clear plastic cups shown on the menu. This was an attempt to hide the fact that the concretes were not mixed. They had dumped the toppings into the bottom of the cup and poured the custard on top. I do not know if their blenders were broken or if they simply did not care, but there is no excuse for them not being honest about it. The quality of the product itself was not as bad as the service, but nowhere near worth the price paid. I will never go back and I will continue to warn others away from this place. If you want good frozen treats there are plenty of options, my favorite being Yogurtland in Southlake. The price and quality blow Freddy’s out of the water. I do not want to put many words of praise for Yogurtland in this review because of Unilocal’s tendency to feature partial quotes without context, but a check of their Unilocal page will tell you all you need to know. Just so Unilocal’s algorithm does not get confused, I want to make my thoughts very clear: Freddy’s service is terrible, the food is awful, and the prices are horrible. Unless you are a masochist, it is better to avoid Freddy’s altogether.

As far as fast-food hamburger joints go, this is not bad. I still prefer In-N-Out, but these guys are closer in Keller and we like to support our Keller peeps. It’s head & shoulders above McD’s, Burger King, or Wendy’s for sure and they’ve got a nice variety. Their ice-cream is quite tasty as well. If you’re looking for a quick & tasty burger, you’ve found it.

I’m a California native who loves his in n out. Given that, I tried this place after a bit of a hiatus. Oh boy, I FINALLY found the right burger to order here. Number 1 with 2 extra patties, and BACON. Freaking delicious. Try it y’all! oh and staff were real kind/courteous, even tho it was almost closing time.

Since it is all promised to be made fresh after you order, the drive thru line takes a little bit of time to get through. Don’t go if you are in a hurry. Some of the other reviews are correct when they say the parking lot is a hot fresh mess! If you park in the lot, and they get a lot of traffic in the drive thru there is no way you will be able to back out! I was a little disappointed that my custard was scooped shortly after I ordered, which made it slightly melted by the time I got to the window. This did not impact the amazing taste of Freddy’s custard. Must have!

Three stars only because the Chicago-style hot dog saved it. I don’t think it was Vienna Beef(99.9% sure*), but it got the other parts mostly right(poppy seed bun, onions, relish, tomato, sport peppers, mustard and NO ketchup — though the bun was toasted, not steamed). All in all, quit a good substitute for the real, and hard to find in these parts, thing. The burger was a disappointment. It was over cooked, very thin and very salty. My suggestion to you is if you want a burger, head a little further west on 1709 to Chapps. The shoe-string fries were pretty good, but the special«fry sauce» for them(in the bulk dispenser) was also too salty and not very unique or special. They were better with ketchup, which was served in little packets. Why no bulk dispenser for that? Did not try the frozen custard, but I’ll be back for that and another Chicago-style hot dog. Oh, and you can order your custard«on hold», pick it up after your hot meal. * Update: The website says they do use Vienna Beef, so maybe they are using hot dogs without the casing. That always throws me off.
