This is by far the best halal store I’ve found in New Orleans. The place is nice and clean. The meat is great. They have all kinds of rice and spices. I love the place and would recommend it to anyone looking for halal meat. Even the price on the meat is similar to the meat sold by whole food and Walmart. The store owner can dress in any form or cloths he wants. Isn’t this a free country that supports the freedom of everyone!

This is a wonderful market with a great meat counter. I got to talking with the butcher while he was preparing my leg of lamb and he– and the rest of the staff– are the nicest people in the world. Happy to talk about food, filled with experience and advice for cooking. It’s worth the drive out to Kenner to shop here.
