I absolutely love these guys! I would give the more stars if I could!
Not only did they give me a great estimate, they showed up on time, came under my estimate, but we’re rad guys!
I value these things when hiring someone to even touch my belongings!
I loved that they called to confirm a few days prior to truck arrival.
I did not have 1 item broken by these guys, although, I am a master packer, I truly appreciate the treatment of my boxes and furniture!
To top it all off,
I thought I lost my boxes of Urns with precious family members.
It was that scene where you have absolutely lost your mind, tearing through every box. not once… but 3 times or more. Swearing that its lost… and …no amount of tincture can calm you’re A$$ down!
I even reached out to A2B to see if by accident it was still on the truck, they were frantically searching with me!
Sure, enough… my box w urns had been placed in my garage by accident (by my husband) and I completely didn’t even think of there when I was unpacking.
Anyway, I let them know immediately and thanked them for the added stress I gave them.
Thanks guys, will tell all my friends and family to use you.

Very professional, stayed busy, and I feel like they used all their time wisely. Such a good job and reasonable time frame. I would suggest giving this company a shot. I move w friends and family usually and this is my first time hiring through a moving company and thank you Unilocal!and a big thanks to the movers for disposing our furniture we no longer wanted for a small extra fee very well worth the $$$

It was 3 years back. I used A2B last weekend and the guys did great job. They provided great protections on both places. The 3-​man team was led by Kyle, who is very experienced, together with another very experienced mover. The guy with less experience was also very friendly. Amazingly they even did not scratch any walls, with the 5×5 Ikea book case.
However I later discovered some scratches on my dinning table, and the door for my storage shed was broken. The owner offers to come by to take a look. I was OK with these small things so did not make appointment with them, which could be time consuming for both side.
The communication with the owner (Laurene) was also great.
The rate was $ 125/​h (3 men and truck) with a flat travel fee. I was glad the owner accept credit card. Again this is 3 years ago.

These guys were great! We needed help short notice and not only did they get to us in a timely manner, they were fast, efficient and polite. They took care of our stuff. I can’t say enough good things about how much I appreciate them. Even booking them online was easy peasy. If you need help moving, they are both good and reasonably priced.

The guys that did the move were great both times! They were fast, efficient, and super nice. Really appreciated their hard work.
I don’t plan on moving again any time soon because it was a pain to pack up the house, but I would use them again without hesitation.

Easy to work with and best price for an ABF ReloCube unloading job. We got a good quote on the phone and several follow up calls (we booked a few weeks in advance). Sure enough, on the right day, two movers met us in Kent at the ABF depot. They brought a truck that was just big enough, which was oddly perfect, as we needed to take the contents of the cube into downtown Seattle.
They broke one item, it’s true, but it was overloaded dresser from IKEA. It came as a shock to no one, but IKEA items don’t get along with dollies. They don’t insure/​repair particleboard, but hey, I figured a dresser owned is a dresser not needed to be bought from one more long ass IKEA trip. I tried. But everything else was peachy!
The guys drove everything up the freeway and made it to the unloading location. They got the items put where we asked and were careful with the floors. No walls were hit, no scratches made. They did say I was one of the most organized moves ever, so some of this was the result of a lot of planning. They only had to unload and unwrap.
But, if you need movers to unload a pod, call them! The rates in Washington have to include travel time, so remember this when comparing quotes. They were the cheapest for us, but YMMV. But they did a good job and that’s more than half the battle when hiring movers.

Charged me extra and told me that it was a standard fee. Never using them again. They sent the smallest truck possible and had to make multiple trips, totally rip off

Kathy, Andrew and Laurene provided excellent service on pricing, on-​site quote and details on all the value-​add items A2B offers (floor covering, furniture protection, use of wardrobe boxes and free, used moving boxes).
The 4 guy moving crew showed up on time, introduced themselves and worked very hard to make our move as efficient and smooth as possible. Unlike other moving company movers, these guys were respectful and helpful every step of the way. While there were a few pieces of furniture that got dinged/​scratch and probably should have been wrapped, that’s to be somewhat expected with moving, but nothing got broken. I wholeheartedly recommend these guys and would use them again.

I thought this was going to be a great experience but it was not. If you want professional people who do it right do not choose them. They damaged property-​never apologized, blamed me for it. They left items (big items) and took a door off to move a chair and left the door off, NEVER PUT IT BACK ON!!! One of the guys showed up with a cigarette in his mouth, neither introduced themselves, they were completely unprofessional and LAZY! It was clear that they wanted to do it as quick and shitty as possible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $.

Not sure why I didn’t review these guys when they did our door to door move in April. They were damn good. We did the prep and box packing (got lots of experience) and then these three guys came in and picked up our stuff and delivered it. Three hours to load, 1.5 hours in the road and 4 hours to unload and spot the boxes and furniture. 1. — We were quoted $ 8,000 by another company (including packing). These guys provided the service for less than $ 1,500, and we did the packing. 2. They were totally professional. Everything was handled carefully and there was zero damage. 3. They were easy to work with and we could not have been happier with the service.
We were very fortunate to find this company among the nationally known and heavily advertised companies in and around Seattle. Very impressed with the way they conducted the move and I not only recommend them but would definitely use them again if the need arises. Good company and good crew.

I moved from Kent to Olympia on 8÷27÷2015 with A2B and it was an excellent experience for me. Chad and Jelan were professionals, they arrived onetime and were very organized and quick. We finished within the estimated time. I can’t say thank you enough for both of them and to Kathy and Lauren. I highly recommend this company for every one who is looking for easy move with peace of mind.

My daughter and I used this company for the first time on June 26^th 2015. We won’t use them again. If you have to file a claim be cautious. Your calls don’t get returned and you can’t get your property back.

A2B Moving helped move my wife and I from our 2-​bedroom, 2^nd story, Seattle apartment to a 3-​bedroom home in Maple Valley. The two gentlemen arrived 15 minutes late, but were very friendly and polite, and at the beginning of the move worked fast and assured me they’d be done before the quoted time. I was happy with their confidence, but wasn’t counting on them finishing early. They were also very good about not letting our cat out of the apartment which was nice.
However, after a couple hours they started taking breaks ever 30 minutes or so. My wife and I would often walk into rooms and discover nothing had been moved since an hour before. They ended up taking most of the quoted 7 hours just loading stuff into the truck, then left many of our belongings still in the apartment even though there was more room in the truck. They and my wife left at the same time for the home in Maple Valley, yet they arrived 30 minutes after my wife, we’re not sure what took so long.
Upon arriving they took several more hours to unload our belongings. All our boxes were labeled and they were repeatedly asked to put the appropriate box in the corresponding room, however they continued to leave labeled boxes in the garage that we have had to deal with and sort. All in, the move took 10 hours, well beyond what I was quoted.
They also broke a bookshelf, and dinged and scuffed several other pieces of furniture. We also discovered several dents and holes where they ran furniture into the walls.
I chose this company based on their stellar reviews, and I understand they may have had an off day, but based on my experience I can’t recommend A2B Moving.

This was our first time going to a professional moving company and it was such a great decision for us! What would have taken us all day only took 5 hours. The movers were friendly, made sure our things were securely loaded, wrapped our mattresses up in blankets so they wouldn’t get dirty, and worked productively in a timely manner. We didn’t have to lift a single thing in the hot weather! If you’re looking for a trusted moving company, I would recommend A to B Moving if you can afford it. They charge by the hour, but it is extremely worth it if you want to save some time. It made our moving experience a lot easier for us. Packing and unpacking is already stressful as it. Also, they provide free boxes!

This was our second time using them and it was once again easy and well done. They are efficient and take great care of the items they are moving, they showed up on time as scheduled and were actually under the original estimate.
They are friendly and courteous and everyone I worked with was extremely helpful. We just bought a house so hopefully we don’t need them again for a while but if we need movers or we know someone that does we recommend them.

I’ve honestly never used a moving company before so I have nobody to compare them to. I needed someone to help me transport a fridge I purchased from Costco. Costco only does delivery for online purchases and there was no way I could move a 300 plus lb fridge on my own. I called A2B the same day and they met me at Costco within the hour! That alone was impressive. It’s nice that they are located in Kent (I was at the Tukwila Costco). The lady I spoke with on the phone was super helpful.
The two gentlemen who met me were Jermaine and Howard. They were polite, professional and funny. Anyway, they literally rolled out the red carpet for me. I just wanted my fridge moved from A2B (get it? see what I did there?) but they put the red carpet over my wood floors to avoid scratching it up. They also wrapped the new fridge I purchased up very well before transporting.
I would highly recommend them. I don’t plan on ever moving, but if I do I will use these guys again and probably request the same gentlemen.
They have a Unilocal deal going on right now. For the price I paid… it was so worth it! I wrote them a check, but they also take credit cards. Don’t forget to tip! It’s not required but it’s a nice gesture. I tipped with cash. These guys work hard! They were sweating bullets. I know it’s their job, but I felt so bad!

Based on their location and the Unilocal reviews, I chose A2B to unload a set of pods from the Kent Door-​to-​Door warehouse. Door-​to-​Door can not guarantee you an exact date of pod arrival. For this reason, I asked A2B if I could schedule a tentative date. When the pods arrived early, I called A2B if I could change the date of my move. A2B obliged the date change without issue.
The move itself went as smoothly as one could expect. The two movers quickly moved my belongings into the apartment I am renting. Because the move went so quickly, I ended up paying less than the price A2B initially quoted me. Finally, I liked the way I could add a tip to my payment via credit card. I am very satisfied with service A2B provided me from the first call to the delivery of the last box.

Absolutely the worst. We used A2B for a move, and literally the majority of our furniture ended up dinged, scuffed, or straight up broken. They lost hardware for our babies crib, and all TV mounts. Our 1 year old had to sleep in a pack and play for weeks. We paid extra for tv boxes, and they showed up with duct taped mirror boxes.
I can understand that there will be some damage in a move… however; THEY TRIED TO COVER THE DAMAGE UP. They broke a piece off of an antique wooden chair and did an abysmal job trying to glue it back together. This wasn’t a fragile antique. It’s been in the family for decades, and has gone through a few coast to coast moves… with no damage.

TV mounts — lost hardware.
Coffee Table — chunks missing from edge
Mattress Covers — torn
Etc…
When they were loading, their crew took over 12 hours. At close to midnight I started loading myself.
If you want a cut-​rate moving company to use A2B.

When I moved four months ago, I wanted everything to be as easy as possible. I learned a long time ago that if you pay your friends to move with a six pack and a pizza, you get what you pay for when the pizza runs out. Sure, a moving service costs more, but it makes it easier when you do the ground work before.
The crew showed up early, loaded up fast, and made the trip from Lynnwood to Kent easy as could be. Total job was in the time quoted, including travel time.
The only recommendation that I have is for them to match up the movers and jobs better. I have cats and one of my movers was allergic to cats. Had they screened this, it might have made my move slightly faster and his day easier — I felt bad for him and how I could tell he was feeling!

Will not use them again. They were done 45 mins before the paid time and they could not wait to leave. There were a few heavy boxes had labeled «upstairs», ended up «downstairs».
Was hoping everyone will use their common sense, I guess next time I better baby-​sitting my movers.
