History

Established in 2004.

Redneck’s Southern Pit Barbecue started as a small homemade barbecue trailer in 2004. After several years of catering and special events, customers demanded a fixed location. A revitalization of the Historic Central Commercial Building in Old Town Kingman gave Redneck’s BBQ a new home. Customers can now enjoy their favorite «Que» choices in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Meet the Business Owner

Bubba F.

Business Owner

Bubba grew up in Ridgely, Tennessee, a small town in Northwest Tennessee. Married his high school sweetheart, Tammy, in 1977. Tammy and Bubba have 3 adult children, Talisha, Brandon and Jeremy and 4 grandchildren (soon 5). They moved to Kingman, Arizona in 1983. After years of smoking his favorite meats in the backyard smoker and giving the results away to family and friends they convinced Bubba he had a very good product. Thus «Redneck’s» was born. Bubba along with brother-in-law, Royce, and numerous family and friends, built a homemade BBQ trailer. While Bubba was busy at work smoking, Tammy was creating family receipes of baked beans, coleslaw, and others. Customers flocked the «Rednck Rig» as it was sooned to be named and called for a sit down restaurant. In March 2009, Redneck’s Southern Pit Barbecue Restaurant opened. The rest is yet to come…
