Very good food and pricing. They have a lunch appetizer bar that was great as well. The Pad Thai was just perfect. Will visit again for sure.

I really don’t review many places, but I felt I needed to review this one. I have eaten here once before and it was not to my liking but I like to give places a 2nd chance. I ordered pick up last night and ordered pad Thai, pepper steak, shrimp spring rolls and salmon sushi. It came out to almost 55 dollars. The pepper steak was red and tasted of beef jerky. I’ve eaten pepper steak many times in my life from tons of restaurants and by far this did not resemble the dish at all. Instead of spring rolls they gave me fresh rolls and the peanut sauce was a watery mess. I’ve worked at a Thai restaurant before and know what this sauce should look and taste like. The only thing I liked was the pad Thai and that was so so. I couldn’t use the wasbi because it smelled of mold and crumbled between my chopsticks. This place is over priced and I do not recommend it. I work in the food and service industry and believe me when I say this place deserves a thumbs down.

What a wonderful place tucked in to Kingwood. I have been here several times, and Ning has always been my waitress. She is unbelievable. So patient and always a smile on her face. I usually order the green curry chicken or yellow curry chicken. Always very very flavorful. A word or caution, if you only like a little spice, order your dishes as mild. It’ll be enough. If you like five alarm, risk hotter levels. I’ve had sushi once, and it was good and fresh.

The Thai is great. Perfectly seasoned, and they give you fair warning if you order liquid fire! Great place and usually not crowded for dinner. Great value and quality.

I would give it a 3.5 stars if I could but I settled on the lower end since I couldn’t do half points. We went there for lunch, they have a free appetizer bar with all lunch entrees. The appetizer bar had some veggie spring rolls(summer rolls), a couple of soups, some tempura fried veggies and some sushi rolls. The Tom yum soup was good but it was pretty oily. I didn’t care too much for the rest of the appetizer bar. The food was pleasantly good. I had the green curry and it had a nice amount of spice. My husband had the pad Thai and it was flavorful also. The curry portion was pretty small but filling enough; the pad Thai was a lot bigger. I liked the entrees and will most likely come back to try the dinner menu.

Chicken Pad thai is really good. I ordered it for take out, only thing that i did not like was that it was wrapped in foil and it left the bottom half of my food tasting like aluminum. maybe ask for no foil when order take out. other than that… it was really GOOD!

They have a great happy hour here. Always friendly staff, and fantastic sushi! Try to cat eye roll it is my personal favorite this location. I have never tried anything other than the sushi but I am sure that it is good as well.

Wife and I had the pad-see-ewe, and loved it. Kiddo had the kids chicken, nothing special but good fries and chicken.

Went here during my lunch break. It is definitely not my first time. You can probably say I am a regular. All the employee here are nice, but one lady always stands out to be the most gracious. I really like the food and I usually go during my lunch break for their appetizer buffet. Something like with a great variety and not too much just in time to get back for work.

went for lunch on a weekday. prompt seating and service. lunch«appetizers buffet» which had some decent food on it. sushi was very disappointing(as is most buffets). ordered the pad Thai and was very good. not the best, but was very good. Thai tea was also very enjoyable. prices were fair.

Been here for lunch a couple of times. The lunch buffet is nice to go along with the entrée. I normally get the fried rice with chicken. The buffet has sushi and cheese roils that I like along with a small salad bar. My son likes to get the buffet bar only, and he is able to get full from that.

This is like a secret, hidden in plain sight. Red Curry offers authentic Thai food in a strip mall, right on Kingwood Drive. I’d lived most of my life in and around Kingwood and didn’t even know it was here until I was in the shopping center for another reason. I love Thai food, though, so I went in and I’m glad I did. The food is mostly authentic, although there were a few misses. The spring rolls(which are more Vietnamese than Thai) were rather flavorless, although the dumplings made up for it. When it came to entrees, the curries(I had panang) seemed a bit«off» in terms of flavor; there wasn’t the type of punch I expected. The chargrilled pork seemed overcooked, according to one of the people eating with me. On the plus side, the tom kha soup was amazing! Also, the pad thai was perfect, and I loved the larb.(The other in my party had Chinese dishes, so boo to them! Still, they loved the pineapple fried rice — enough to feed two or three and full of flavor.) The best thing was that the chef knew enough to adjust the spices to each diner. So even the spicy dishes, you could order toned down, Thai hot, or anywhere in between. This is a huge plus, since it allows more people to try more dishes. The service was great; the waiter was friendly and we had a great time. Laid back and quiet.

Today was my first time back here in over 12 years. I remember I didn’t like the food or cleanliness of the restaurant. After 12 years, they still look the same. It’s dark, ugly, and not very clean. The booth we sat in had holes in it. The staff also did not exhibit friendly service. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the food was okay. The sushi was not as bad as 12 years ago. The pad Thai was okay. Don’t order the thai tea, it was disgusting. Also, the satay was bland. I’m never coming back here again. Go to nara thai on lake Houston if you want Thai food. Very disappointing experience. Also, the sign in the front said they had a special lunch menu which we never received. Food cost was high and not worth the price.

This Place is Awesome! Great Food, Great Places, and they even offer frequent diner benefits. They also have an amazing Lunch Appetizer Buffet. It is Definitely a family favorite. Staff is also very friendly. They also keep my water full; a BIG + plus for me. Try the Tom Yum Soup!

I always get Togo from here. My mom loves their tofu pad Thai and I love their shrimp pad Thai. Probably the best place to get it in kingwood. Their pineapple fried is pretty good as well. At lunch they have an open appetizer bar but you can’t Togo your food. Like what? I don’t eat a lot, so I was probably going to Togo my food anyways but now I have to throw it away? What a waste. And if you want to share a plate, it costs almost as much as a regular meal so that other person can eat from the appetizer bar as well. The appetizer bar isn’t that great either. There’s soup, spring rolls, some sushi roll(not that great) salad bar, and fried vegetables. A lot of times they run out of things and are not quick to refill. Anyways, that’s why I always just get Togo. Also, there’s a closing time in between lunch and dinner which sucks because sometimes I like to buy food at 3 of 4 in the afternoon.

Been a couple times. Ordered sushi on a slow day and was happy with what we got. The Thai cream tea is very nice. Didn’t enjoy the weekly lunch special with the bar. Hit and miss on most of the items in my opinion.

Second time trying this place as I was extremely underwhelmed the first time Lunch menu is standard Thai fair which is easy enough. Pad see ewe was adequate but way short of the caliber of other places The lunch special is a cool concept you order an entrée and get unlimited appetizers but the kicker is you don’t get to take any food home, much like a buffet but that includes your entrée as well. The appetizer buffet was the only thing that kept me from giving them one star. I did like the sushi and tempura fried veggies. It also had a decent selection of options. Service was good, the waitstaff was nice to my son and brought him kid chop sticks. But I don’t think we’ll come back. I definitely prefer Nara Thai in Atascocita.

This place is pretty gross. They need to vacuum the carpet for starters. The food is ok at best. They have lunch specials which include a buffet for salad, sushi, spring rolls and things of that nature. Hot food was of course lukewarm, and the salad looked pretty wilted. The sushi(all California rolls) was good. The area near the restrooms has the aroma of a port o potty. There was a tray of stuff that was dirty dishes just sitting out. The staff was not busy with 5 tables in the whole place sat and at least 3 wait staff and a buser on, so I don’t get it. If you order from the lunch specials menu, you cannot take the entrée leftovers home with you. Which is beyond annoying. In the competitive business of running a restaurant this is a pretty moronic choice, but eh whatever. I’ve lived in Kingwood for years and this is my first time trying this place. It’s also the last time I will ever come here. I’ve never come here before and I will never come here again. If you want this style of food, the Thai place in Atascocita is much better. If you want Asian style in Kingwood then the other 5 places, including Pei Wei, are just better. This place is disgusting. Do not come here it’s gross.
