Forget Me Not Consignments

Had a bad experience here. One of the girls at the front had a big attitude problem and when I asked to do a drop and run her and her coworker rolled their eyes. Bad customer service.

I’ve found some really great children’s items here over the years. The employees are always really nice. I’ve sold items here a few times and it was easy and fairly quick.

Their business comes from the seriously unaware and unsavy shopper. This was my 6^th time back to this shop over a fairly spread out time frame, all times I found it to be very overpriced, for most things which looked in worse condition than at a shady garage sale, the prices run the same as new merchandise at its original sale at its store like old navy, for example. You can get a better price at a 50%off sale for the same thing but unused clean and new item at the brand names store. It is also very stuffed, unorganized overfilled with old things, hard to move around, hard to move the hangers to even search for clothing on the racks its so stuffed. Very overwhelming and a huge hassle to shop there. I’m a huge supporter of small businesses, shopping local and repurposing or reusing items, but the prices at this place are a huge joke, and their system is just chaotic and inefficient. I tried to give this business at least two visits per year, and every time I’m either disappointed, or so overworked by shoving through the clothes that I feel pressured (because I had wasted so much energy and time looking) to buy something so overpriced for being used and not new (Prices are very close to original retail price or maybe 50% less at best for something.) Your better off going to garage sales, value village or offer up app.

This place rocks my world. As a student moving into the professional world, I need nice clothing at a decent price. This place fits the bill! And the $ 3 rack outside is amazing and consistent. The sales are good too if you catch them at the right time.
As for the negative reviews here, send your stuff to Goodwill if you don’t like the way this business works. Seriously. They are family owned and honest in my eyes, doing the best they can with the enormous about of goods received from people who probably shop way too often and then regret it later! I have had good experience consigning here as well. You can’t expect too much from a business that exists to create extra money from your used stuff. They’re not shady at all, rather very sweet and friendly.

I’ve consigned clothes here for a number of years here and just decided to go elsewhere… On the good side, the location is convenient and it seems that they have started to get their computer tracking system and consignee inventory visibility to be better. I used to drop off a bunch of clothes and it would take 2 – 3 months for it to get out on the racks. Likewise I had no idea what items they had and what sold. All I knew is at the end it took close to 5 months to really get through the selling and pick up which is just too long. I seems like they are trying to get the items out quicker. I agree with many of the other reviewers that their prices are marked too high and often times don’t sell after many months. Even if it’s designer items/​jeans etc. Mark them at a good price and they will sell. I would never buy used designer jeans for $ 60-​$ 70. Even though maybe nordstrom prices are $ 150, I could get them brand new at Nordstrom rack for $ 89 As a consignee, I’d prefer to have the stuff sold vs. wait 5 months and end up going back to pick it up. Also, they just instituted a new policy that if you want to pick up your clothes at the end of the time period, you need to go to the store and find them and pull them off the racks yourself! That store has so much stuff, I can’t imagine digging through their racks and having to find all my remaining pieces. In the end, it’s just not worth the amount of money I can make for the time involved.

I love this place. It is such a nice family owned place. I have been trading clothes with them for 4 years now. My only complaint is I wish they were more selective on what clothes they put out I feel like there is a lot of outdated stuff

I really want to like this place. Since I love down the road. But. Every time I go in I’m totally disappointed. Theirs prices for consignment are WAY to high. I get a good chuckle every time.
I decided to consign with them one time. Their system is very shady. They didn’t show me what they took so I had no idea how many items they had of mine. They don’t give you any information other than they won’t put your clothes out for two months?! They have entirely WAY to much stuff. And so much outdated stuff that should just be thrown away.
I brought in a dress I bought from Ross for $ 12 I didn’t take the brand tag off since I never wore it. They took it in and priced it at $ 35! I was baffled! And of course it didnt sell. I went in the other day to look for dresses and saw some that I know they sell at Ross for entirely WAY to much. They need to figure it out in there. Get rid of all the junk and price accordingly. You can barely look through the clothes because there is to many on the racks.

While it is a little bit pricier than some of the other local second-​hand stores, it is a viable alternative to big box sticker prices. I don’t buy children’s clothes here, but I do look for brand names, and they have those here. I second the comparison to Buffalo Exchange.

My review only really goes towards the kids clothes part of this store, because I only really check consignment stores for clothes for my daughter who is an infant and growing fast. I’ve driven by this store for years, and went in for the first time the other day with my daughter and husband in tow. I think he was a little more irritated from the get go than I was, because we weren’t greeted at all when we walked in but the people after us were. Rude? He can’t stand people not acknowledging customers after years of retail customer service, which I agree with.
Anyways, we went straight for the baby girl clothes, which they had a decent amount of, but I was pretty bummed at their pricing. They had a few outfits from gap, carters, gymboree, old navy that were just pushing it in what they were asking. A gymboree dress used for $ 17? Another that I can buy new at the outlets for $ 10, priced here used for $ 11? No thanks. I didn’t find anything worth it’s price. I find comparable things at goodwill and value village for $ 1 – 3! (That $ 11 priced item, I found at goodwill for $ 2!) I feel like this is a place you can go and sell clothes too (if they’re high quality) and get a decent amount back, but I’d pass buying anything here and just check other consignment, thrift, or the outlets for clothes for kids.

Was not impressed with the baby clothing. I felt like most of the clothes were super old and worn and the prices seemed too high. I also didn’t find many good brands, mostly Carter’s and osh kosh. Probably won’t go back.

Nice, well-​curated consignment shop. A mix of higher-​end designer finds (some of which are displayed on the walls, designer jeans behind the counter) and good ol’ Old Navy jeans. I found a cool necklace for $ 20 and a pair of Aravon shoes in nearly perfect condition for $ 45 that are on Zappos for $ 150 right now. So not rock bottom prices, but then you don’t have to sift through piles of junk at Goodwill either, which is well worth it to me.
The only downside, and this isn’t the store’s fault, is that there were some bratty broads there. Not employees, but I ran into one would-​be seller and several customers with major attitude problems. It was like there was one package of butter left at the grocery store in Soviet Russia. Sheesh!

Forget Me Not Consigments has a very large selection of adult clothing, but they didn’t have much in the way of Children’s. Their prices were a bit high for my liking but what stock they had was of excellent quality and looked almost new. I found the shopgirl to be friendly and helpful.

You accept hand-​me-​downs from your friends’ kids — so why not buy at a consignment store, too?! Seriously — just wash everything when you get home.
The owners at FMN inspect everything that is brought in, & they are picky — as they should be, because they want to make money, too. You can find some great deals on kids clothes. I’m always impressed with the number of designer handbags they have, too.
Parking is not always available (blerg!), but since their building is visible from 100^th Ave, at least you can do a quick drive-​by to check.
The ladies who work there are friendly, and are always very busy. I think that’s a testament to their success. Also, I like that it’s a woman-​owned, family-​run business.

I’ve passed this shop many many times and finally went in a few months ago. There isn’t a huge selection for someone my size (I’m very tiny, bordering on teen clothing), but it seems like everything is on sale! What I did get was super cheap due to sales and that was nice :) I bought a couple of items. The staff is very friendly.

I enjoyed this shop so much as a customer that when a job opened up there, I applied for it. I’ve been working there since early December of 2011, and thoroughly enjoy every aspect of it. I like the variety of items this place has to offer, and LOVE being part of a team that is working hard to make this a store that has something for everyone!
I also love the fact that this business donates a LOT of items to several local charities (Treehouse, Children’s Hospital, and Retex). It just doesn’t get much better than that!

The negative reviews made me hesitate a little, but I gave in today and glad I did. Pricing was comparable to Buffalo Exchange, but some things were pretty high — used gap coat for $ 50? Pass…
Selection generally leaned more toward career wear and mom wear. Not much for the younger crowd (juniors).
So despite that, I actually did find some randomly great (ly cheap) stuff in their outside sale rack. $ 2-​$ 5 tops and dresses. So maybe just stick to that

4÷7÷11 Update: The sheer amount of hoops I had to jump through to get the money from my items cost this place another star. First, I had to come here during work day hours (not weekend) so that the person who could actually write me a check was in the shop. I wasted two trips here before I got lucky and arrived when the check-​writer was available. The check itself wouldn’t scan at an ATM or my phone app (the signature overlapped the routing number) so I had to take the check into a physical bank location, which was also a hassle. This shop’s just a giant time sink, I’m done with it.

Nice selection of better clothes from near by uppity Kirkland and soccer mom suburb Juanita. Many top brands from St. John and Coach, even an Hermes or two
Some of the prices seem a touch high, but break out your haggle bat and beat down a bargain!
