They ruined a $ 300BCBG dress that I had only worn twice and refused to do anything to rectify their mistake, not even a refund of what I paid to dry clean the dress. Will never go back there.

I have used this dry cleaner for several years, both for cleaning and for alterations. It’s always the same clerk when I go in, and she’s always pleasant and polite. They’ve done a nice job on alterations for me, in one case completely reconstructing a too-short skirt to get maximum length out of it — not an easy job but they did it well. Clothes come out clean, as they should. The store itself is clean and I appreciate that they use phone numbers to track everything, because I’m a notorious ticket-misplacer and I don’t have to worry about that any more!

I don’t recommend ever seeking services from this business. 1) you will pick up your clothing with new stains that were never there when you dropped them off, which they will refuse to admit they played any role in, even ruining brand new & expensive clothing; 2) they will alter clothing to different lengths & widths than you measured & requested they do; 3) they will charge you different prices than they quote you on your receipt as well as verbally. However, I did find a great alteration & dry cleaning business just across the street that seems to have better prices as well as customer service, & I recommend them much more highly for consistency, price & quality of service. I am unsure what the name of the business is, but it’s located beside the Tandoor restaurant across the street from Blockbuster off of 132nd.
