History
Established in 1973.
Maui has been the central subject matter for artist Curtis Wilson Cost since moving from Oahu in 1973. The Curtis Wilson Cost Gallery is currently the longest running one-man gallery in the state of Hawaii. Cost is a second generation artist and gallery owner. His father, James Peter Cost, was a well known oil painter and gallery owner in Carmel California, attaining international recognition over a 50 year career.

Business Owner
Jill Cost, along with her husband Curtis, owns and operates the gallery. She coordinates commissioned work for her husband, and runs every aspect of the company including the gallery aesthetics, frame design, human resources, and has been the central dynamic of the gallery’s long running success. She has a background in gallery operations from previous experience on Oahu. People familiar with the gallery know that she is the one to talk to.
