Teri Salon, Threading & Full Service Salon

Teri is SO great! If she didn’t live over an hour away from me, she’d always be my go to person to get a wax. I found her through Groupon but she honored the Groupon price for me every time after that so Groupon wouldn’t be able to take any of her profits. She’s really easy to schedule with but she does get booked pretty quickly.
She’s so quick and efficient. She has a great approach to the waxing and does it really methodically so she doesn’t miss any hairs. She also has a great technique of applying pressure after ripping the strip to lessen the pain. I also like the soft wax she uses because the strips allow her a lot of flexibility. She also is really careful about not contaminating her wax pot. I’ve gotten both Brazillians and full legs done by her and both were great experiences. She’s so patient and willing to go over spots multiple times to make sure she gets all the hair.
Teri, as a person, is so sweet and friendly that it’s easy to chat with her while your lady bits are in excruciating pain.
My ONLY downside to her is that she uses ingrown tweezers at the end to fish out ingrowns and stray hairs. And that concerns me a little because I’ve never seen her sanitize them (though I’ve also never asked so maybe she does behind the scenes!) and I know I bleed when I get ingrowns taken out so I can’t imagine who else’s blood is on those tweezers. Major no no… but you can just ask her not to use the tweezers and benefit from the rest of the wax :)

Last week was my second time coming to Teri for a full body wax (full leg, underarms, brazillian). It’s always a great experience, especially for the price! You seriously can’t find anywhere else as affordable as this place, $ 15 for a brazillian through Groupon ?! What a deal! Ok so Teri is super nice and down to earth, makes u feel super comfortable, even though waxing hurts like a b****. She tries to get it done fast and efficient, and she does a great job. She’s a busy lady so I recommend making an appointment in advance. She sometimes keeps the door to her shop locked because she in the back with clients, so if that’s the case, just call! Her prices are cheap so tip her good, she deserves it! :)
**If it’s your first time getting waxed don’t be nervous, she has probably seen thousands of lady bits by now. Also, yes, it hurts, especially if you have thick hair and sensitive skin like me. If that’s the case, you will be red, and a bit sore for a day or two (I was less red the second time around and it went back to normal in less time). If you have any questions, just ask her! Things have definitely changed since Teri first opened her shop. If you’re reading old reviews, don’t let them deter you from going to see Teri. I, too, found Teri via groupon. I was wondering what the difference would be for a $ 13 Brazilian wax (3 for $ 39) vs the $ 65 I had been paying at other salons. Ok… it’s not a fancy space. But, she has since had her treatment room painted and remodeled.
To the woman who thought Teri was double dipping… She doesn’t double dip the stick. She puts wax in a little disposable cup and dips the stick in that. It’s not as if she’s double dipping into the big container of wax that will be used on all of her clients. After she’s done, she throws away the cup. That makes sense to me!
Teri is sweet and personable, she’s very good and efficient at what she does. I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes for about 12 years now… hard wax, soft wax, from CA to Fl. I love how I can schedule a last minute appointment easily as well. Teri is great. And for the price??? She can’t be beat!.

Well this is my 3^rd time coming to Teri Salon and there are many reasons why I love it and keep coming back.
First, there is a great Groupon deal for Brazilian waxes! At other places it can cost around $ 35-​$ 55 and on Groupon for this salon it’s only costs $ 15!!!
Second, the lady is so sweet and she has always been able to make a same day appointment for me. I can easily come in for my wax anytime and be in and out super quick!
Third, she actually does a great wax job. She also uses numbing spray for the pain which is very helpful. I always come out smooth and mostly pain free.
I definitely recommend coming here to get a Brazilian!
