Richard E.

Business Owner

Richard Effress is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of CoastEdge Partners, LLC. Rich has been an entrepreneur, operator and investor since 1992. Prior to forming CoastEdge, Rich served as COO of a $ 3 billion alternative asset management firm. He also founded or co-​founded businesses in the medical device, telecommunications, healthcare services, real estate and financial services markets which collectively generated over $ 700 million of revenue at exit. He received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
