History
Established in 1954.
Formed in 1954 by a Bulgarian expatriate, the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus has grown to a 110 ensemble orchestra and 130 person chorus. Affiliated with the University of California San Diego, the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus is currently conducted by internationally acclaimed percussionist Steven Schick and led by Choral Director David Chase.
