Specialties

Over the course of twenty years my firm has served San Diego County. We design beautiful, creative, strong, and water tight homes to stand the test of time. If you have the ugly duck on the block I can turn your project into a swan. I work closely with a handful of skilled contractors that are competitively priced because I bid them against each other. Over the course of twenty years as a design architect I believe the best value for the customer is a Stipulated Sum Bid. By preparing well thought out drawings and identifying all finishes and fixtures before starting construction we are able to keep change orders to a minimum. Construction can be a pleasant experience if you make your selections in the drawing phase. I have a great eye for colors and finishes. I can provide assistance on picking the fabrics for you furniture so colors in your granite counter top will match seamlessly with your décor. From coordinating structural steel beams and mechanical ductwork to state of the art lighting I am the conductor of skilled craftsman and happy to be of assistance.

I admit it; I am blessed with the gift of being a talented architect. I enjoy working with people and have a captivating sense of humor… But at the end of the day I am still bald. My wife is nuts about me and the kids think I’m a great dad even though they think I’m tough on them. The dog gets thirty minutes on the beach every morning so my popularity polls are up there. I am always working on a better mouse trap. Construction is expensive so my goal is make things last as long as possible. Just yesterday I was meeting with Nate, one of my favorite craftsman, on this western red cedar gate that has two opposing waves on it. Its located across the street from the Wind n Sea parking lot. We were discussing if the bottom of the gate should be filled with caulking but then decided to run a small dado down the rails so the water had a place to drain. Above the gate we did a reverse image of the opposing waves to create a Torrey Pine. Go on a scavenger hunt and Yelp Me.
