The store is lovely, but the fairly young girl with long thin brown hair was not. She projected an attitude of being very bothered to be working there on this Saturday, and acted like checking us out at the cash register was the most unsatisfying thing she could possibly be doing. She was very unenthused and seemed to be too young and immature to know how to project good customer service skills. I am a frequent customer and i haven’t seen her until recently. When we said thank you, she said nothing. Very rude.

I’m sad they left the El Cajon location but at least it’s in a cute area in la Mesa. I love love this place. I can spend hours here in my namaste store sipping the complimentary tea or coffee while I buy the cutest gifts. The ladies are super nice and helpful. I would only complain on the need of better young women clothing. Maybe some spiritual gangster type of clothing?

Let’s just say I’m a big believer in cosmic energy. I’ve tried really hard to like this store and come in a couple times a month. The woman with the short dark hair and glasses has her guard up but she has only ever offered me kind service.
I recently walked in wearing my son who was napping. There I browsed the gems, looked at a chakra smoothie book and left since I’m pretty familiar with the store. I firmly believe that the gems have energy and don’t touch many of them in order to not transfer energy. I said hi to one of the clerks briefly before she went to help someone with some earrings. As I was leaving another clerk who was working with them followed me to the doorway and I had my hands open to show I didn’t take anything. I would never put bad energy into gems by taking without paying and if they have the gift they should know that I’m not a person to steal from a store that I’ve bought reiki candles and gems that I love. If she was reading my mind and heard me think that the gems were pricey I was echoing what a friend told me who I recommended the shop to because I’ve liked coming here.

I loved this place SO MUCH when it was in El Cajon & Teri was the cashier. She was nice and straight to the point! I used to go almost every other day to buy candles and various healing stones. But since they moved I now have to buy my candles online.
The new lady with shorter dark hair is rude she accused me of stealing saying «word travels fast around here» and threatened to call the police on me. I’ve never stole from this place. It was actually my second visit there since they moved. She hurried me and I quickly bought my candles and never went back. It hurt me so bad to be discriminated against from such what was once such a very lovely & peaceful place.
That was at the beginning of the year… I don’t know if she’s still there but I don’t want to take a chance they lost what was once a very loyal customer.

This shop is great! Tons of great stuff and the staff is wonderful. My sister popped in today for a peek and found some really great things. The lady checking out was super sweet and talkative and everyone who was there before us seemed to be having a fun dialog with the staff there. It’s nice to be welcomed in to a shop and feel like a friend rather than a random visitor. We will definitely be back!

I came in today with a couple of my buddies for the first time and got a really great bundle of loose sage; the quality was really superb. I wasn’t expecting to see all the different varieties of crystals and stones, but I was pleasantly surprised, and beyond impressed with their quality as well. I would definitely come back, and intend to make this shop my go-​to place for all things spiritual & cleansing.
Before I forget, the shopkeeper’s collection of oils and incense were also amazing!

What a special shop! Lots to see and buy… from beautiful jewelry, to healing crystals, candles, artwork and gifts galore, there is something here for every one. A very nice addition to our little La Mesa Village

So disappointed since they moved to La Mesa! It’s as though they changed, even attitudes to fit the stuffy La Mesa Village attitudes! My son has seen the psychic many times and his last trip there she didn’t even acknowledge him and even if some how she didn’t recognize him a friendly smile or hello would have been nice. Sure was nice when he was paying though! Not a warm, welcoming place. The staff make you uncomfortable and hardly says a word to you. I will be going elsewhere which is disappointing since it’s close but I’d rather spend my money in an establishment that appreciates your patronage.

I have been here a couple of times and have had a pleasant experience both times. Great, friendly service is provided by staff. And the customers I have encountered share the same positive attitude. I will return and I recommend that you check them out. There is a nice selection and if you want to buy me something for my birthday, make it a gift certificate for this place!

Amethyst Moon is a wonderful place to shop, get a insightful reading,. Great energy and kind wonderful people in the shop. The shop is friendly, and has a great selection of crystals and clothing. A happy place to shop and just visit.

Small shop with a little bit of everything. I was able to find what I was looking for and then some. The prices seemed very high. I was used to The Dream Merchant in Normal Heights and they were much bigger and better priced. I do like that there was this specialty shop near my neighborhood. The people working there had friends or relatives there because they stayed talking the whole time I was there. I liked a lot of their products but the vibe was a little weird (off)

I like this place. It’s a small shop with a bit of everything 4 stars because they are super super super nice, they even made me a cup of coffee to drink while I shopped. I bought one thing and they were really nice and chatted a little bit and were not clingy or suspicious about me shopping. Will definitely go back. –1 star for not having what I went for but, damn their customer service is very good!

What a great store! So inviting! Terrific and friendly staff, and a great selection of crystals, pendulums and so much more! Plus several different readers with different areas of expertise — astrology, tarot mediumship and more!

Found this very cool little store while strolling the Boulevard with the wife after the car show, dinner and a trip to the cigar store. Lots of interesting stuff and the place always smells good. Have returned a few times and always have to pull the wife out of there as she tends to not want to leave. And a friendly and welcoming staff of people ready to assist you.

I love this little gem of a shop it’s an amazing place to find gifts for yourself or a friend. The staff are friendly they leave you to look around the shop but if you need help they are more than happy to help assist you … Everything I have bought from the shop friends and family have asked me about it. Loving the gifts I bought them … Go and find yourself something in the shop for you or a gift for someone it’s a little gem of a shop …

Awesome atmosphere with great people. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. They helped me with questions and were very patient. I would definitely recommend this place.

Reading all the reviews on this store got me so excited that I couldn’t wait to have a day off from work to visit it.
I came in today and felt the worst energy. The woman who worked over the counter had a scowl on her face and didn’t even greet me. All the sudden more people came in and she started greeting but the greetings themselves were very forced. I don’t know her name but she had short black hair and glasses.
Onto the store itself. There are a lot on lovely insense but they are ones you can get at a smoke shop. The crystals aren’t that good either. The jewlery was OK. Got a pair of cute eating but worried will fall apart with the big chunks of super glue attached to them.
Won’t be coming back. Need a friendlier, happier place with more selections.
I was also badgered by someone who claimed the owner was his mother on Unilocal saying I lied about purchasing the earrings at this establishment. I have the earrings with the package they were on and the price sticker on it. I can pull up my bank statement and prove that I purchased those earrings at this establishment.

Caught this place while walking in downtown La Mesa. Its a great place to stop in at. I don’t know why I never seen this place before. Anyways … The store smells lovely with all the incense in the store. The Employees were so nice and friendly. The store is clean and organized. I bought a new stone. It was the first thing that attracted me in the store because i went straight to it and once i held it in my hand i knew i had to take it home. Spirituality at its best along with the peace and the calmness in the store overall. Lots of incense to choose from and other goodies too! I am definitely coming back here when I am in the area. This will be a place that is added to my favs when I am down here in the area …

The staff are some of the sweetest people you’ll meet, full of knowledge and heart felt advice.
They even have classes, readings, psychics, mediums, a massage therapist, a chiropractor, and the most talented Esthetician, Nicole Valley. She waxes, does facials, ear coning, and spray tanning!
The owner of the shop, Terry (Theresa) is a doll and a joy to talk to.
