Essential Flooring

I contacted Jim of Essential Flooring to replace floors in my house. He came over, took measurements, then sent me to a warehouse to pick out some vinyl planking. I did it immediately, and then waited for his bid. He sent me two bids that were for someone else, then when he sent mine, it included work that we had discussed I would not be doing. He did not change the bid when I asked, left me some carpet samples with no choice in cost and didn’t address that when I asked. I had a 4 week window to have this done, and never received a date for completion. I wasted time and now will not be able to complete the job, I am very disappointed in my experience. I also received a call over a week later telling me that the planking I chose was not available, and wanted me to tell him on the phone a different choice by the names of the planking. I was never given samples to take home — no clue.

We have been exclusively using them for years. They have done multiple jobs at my home and business and they are first rate. Always do a great job and are very reasonably priced. Their price quotes are always lower than I expect and their work exceeds my expectations. It is rare to find an honest contractor who prides himself in his work but these guys are the best at what they do.

We used Essential Flooring to put wood flooring into our newly bought home.
The ripped out all the existing carpet, tile and laminate… sanded and leveled the subfloor and now most of our floor is in! It looks AWESOME! The baseboards are beautiful too. Really elegant and they finish off the floor so nice.
In our kitchen they removed all the appliances to install the floor and put them all back.
They were careful about not dinging the walls (although there are few dirt spots I’ll have to wipe down but no big deal) and they cleaned up after themselves and even cleaned the floors so they are all nice and polished and dust free.
