History

Established in 2011.

Upon my college graduation, I entered a business world with high unemployment, a financial crisis, and an economic recession. After working a number of personally unfulfilling jobs, I decided to start my own business of Organic Peanut Butters and Flavored PB Spreads. My ambition became a reality after a series of discussions with my Mom, a business professional, and my Grandpa, a retired executive. When my first peanut grinder arrived, my kitchen became my office and playpen. I found the perfect peanut for our Organic PB… Valencia of course! Then I tried different combinations of my favorite flavors. While it was quite a challenge, I was able to create the best taste and keep the health benefits of the spread. Using only the finest ingredients, the flavored spreads just became better and better! I knew I had some winning recipes when my friends began begging for samples. After many successful sampling parties, we launched PB Peanut Butter. Please indulge… Wanna Spoon?

Hi! I’m Matthew, the owner of Pacific Beach Peanut Butter. I’m 27 and enjoy being an entrepreneur. I spend most of my time at the local San Diego Farmers Markets or delivering to our Specialty Stores and Whole Foods. Our kitchen/​shop is where my brother hangs out making our yummy products.
