My seven-year-old’s first eye appointment and it couldn’t have gone better. She handled the cycloplegia like a champ and the staff was nice and comforting and even played with my two-​year-​old! Doc explained everything and assured me we’d be taken care of. Such a good experience.

Located just off the I-​8 freeway in La Mesa, Dr. Caroline Cauchi is a tremendously capable optometrist who is also a really cool person. She and her staff present a friendly patient manner, and her examinations are thorough and employ cutting edge devices which provide accurate evaluations of a host of possible vision problems. Unlike many in her profession, Dr. Cauchi spends a tremendous amount of time in studying current scientific literature, presenting at conferences, and conducting in-​service trainings concerning vision issues. I particularly appreciate her availability to help my family during non-​work time to deal with vision crises.
