Gorgeous campus, lots of activities both religuous and secular

After my son nearly drowned two years ago from Splash La Mirada (during his group swim lessons there) we tried Biola University Aquatics for private swim lessons. They have great instructors who I assume are students there. This is our second summer session with them and my two kids are much better swimmers because of their lessons here. The staff are great too. They all seem to care about each kid and are consistently friendly when we arrive at the pool. For a while, I had a phobia about leaving my kids to the instructors. This is because of what happened at Splash — the instructor turned his back on my son to catch another kid and did not realize my son was drowning until he saw me screaming and running toward them! Now I can leave them with confidence so I can run some laps on the track nearby.
Anyway, I am very happy with the progress that my kids have made taking lessons here. I highly recommend their private lessons that last for two weeks. They will learn the different strokes, diving, and swimming full laps across.
