History

Established in 1964.

Before it was Samis, the store was know as roseview liquor, and has been on the same spot for over 50 years. Many of our customers have been coming to the store since they were kids. The current owners have owned the store for the past 7 years, and have taken great pleasure in getting to know the neighborhood and making friends in the community.

Best craft beer with a generous selection and the friendliest staff. The have your favorite liquor refrigerated as well as in freezers so you can decide what temperature you prefer your beverage. They really know their stuff and could suggest pairings and their prices are fair and reasonable as well so check them out.

My new go to spot for a good craft beer! The vibe when coming through the doors is very friendly and welcoming. First time coming here, I felt like I was welcomed as if I’ve been coming here for years. This spot has an amazing variety of craft beers! Also great customer service! I believe the gentlemen that helped me was bill, gave me great recommendations! And not once did I not like a beer he told me to try!

i must’ve ridden by this place for 24 years of my life before i’d ever noticed it. then, a few weeks before my 25th birthday i decided to check it out for no reason in particular.
i can’t understate how impressed i was with their selection. i’d been driving miles up imperial to hit up bev mo and total wine for interesting and tasty craft brews for years now. little did i know there was a place just as good (if not better) walking distance from my house.
everyone there is incredibly friendly and always offers up the best suggestions for new brews to try.
i bought all the beer and/​or liquor for my 25th bday here and i will continue to buy all the rest of my beer and/​or liquor here for the foreseeable future.

Been a customer for over 15 years. Used to buy my candy here when I still had trainings wheels and the old owners were there. Happy to see Alex’s store remodeled and hoppin on the craft beer band wagon. Gotta give the people what they want. They really need to claim more parking spots in front of the store. Mr. V’s takes over every weekend it seems like. Shit «mandatory» valet should park in the fucking neighborhood.

When you need the daddy of craft brews go see Bill, he’s slain dragons and hydra just to make sure this place has the best brews world wide. And if you’re real nice he might tell you about the best taco spot on earth. Just tell him that you know the one and only Blohme with a long o and long e. Ha ha ha ha ha. #blohmeisabadass

Found out about this place at a recent beer event. Looks like local beer culture is growing and this place is a welcome addition. I’m glad I put the address in my GPS before leaving though, because I didn’t see any signage for the place. Everyone here is friendly, and, yes, they do have a dedicated beer specialist who is super helpful. I did see some stuff I haven’t seen before which took me by surprise as I am a weekly beer buyer (ahem). Prices were also quite good. I bought a bottle of Iron Fist Brewing’s Velvet Glove for $ 10.99. It’s listed for $ 11.99 on both the Total Wine website and Bevmo’s website. Local, good prices, excellent service, solid selection… I foresee myself spending a lot of time and beer dollars here.

Great and continuously expanding selection of Craft Beer. The owner takes it really seriously. Tells me about new breweries he’s checking out and what he getting in next. Awesome to find something like this in La Mirada. Been going every week since I found this place. Week after week, I’m never disappointed. Great service and always something that catches my attention.
