History

Established in 2012.

Dr. Nguyen has been serving the valley residents for the last 3 years in Palm Desert inside the Sears optical. With her own private practice she is free to focus on the health of the eyes, something that has been her passion since attending and graduating from University of California at Berkeley. Her Optician, Justin has been in the field for almost 10 years, and takes pride in educating his patients on their eye wear, helping them to make the best decisions for their eyes care needs.

Business Owner

Dr. Thanh-​Vi Nguyen (pronounced «Win») has been serving the eye care needs for residents of the Coachella Valley for the past 4 years. Initially, her office was located next to the Sears Optical at the West Field Mall in Palm Desert. In October of 2012, she opened her own private office in La Quinta, CA.

Dr. Nguyen’s commitment to quality and thorough eye care stems from her education at the world renowned University of California, at Berkeley, College of Optometry and her residency training at Baltimore Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Her special interests include fitting specialty contact lenses (lenses for keratoconus, irregular corneas, bifocal/​multifocal gas permeable lenses), advance treatment for dry eye, and corneal refractive therapy for myopia control.

In her spare time, she enjoys riding her road bike with her husband and hiking the many beautiful trails of the Coachella Valley.
