I was looking for a protein powder that wouldn’t upset my stomach and John, the owner, helped me pick out a pea protein powder that worked perfectly! It tastes great and has really helped me through my tough workouts with my trainer. I am forever grateful to Nutrishop for helping me find a yummy and healthy meal replacement!

I went down to Nutrishop LR the other day with my girlfriend mainly just to browse but also to take a look at some weight gainers and creatine. I walked in and was happily greeted by one of the kind owners, April. I had a couple questions regarding some of the supplements I was looking for and she quickly helped answer any of the questions i had for her. She was incredibly helpful and extremely sociable. This is such a great store just because you can go in there, get what you need to get, have any questions or concerns answered in a knowledgeable way, and have a great conversation throughout your whole visit. April was even kind enough to let me try one of the protein shakes I was interested in. Needless to say I happily walked away with what i needed that day and I’m very excited to try it out! I’ve shopped at quite a few supplement stores and Nutrishop Ladera Ranch has shown me the best costumer service by far. I’m actually moving up north to the central coast in the next coming weeks but I will be coming back down every month or so to visit family and to pick up whatever I need from April at Nutrishop!

First of all I would like to note that I have been coming here for YEARS. I’ve seen owners come and go, staff come and go. JOHN and APRIL have been going above and beyond to tap into the community here in Ladera Ranch. They have the RIGHT, KNOWLEDGEABLE staff in place. Shout out to JON REESE for knowing EXACTLY what he’s talking about when it comes to
supplementation. They treat me and all of my clients with nothing but RESPECT. NEVER do they attempt to sell me or my clients anything we don’t need. As far as the ONE bad review I see on here. that’s called CUSTOMER SERVICE my friend spending time to talk and get to know your clientele. not just selling them on something and putting then about your day. Thank you John and April for all you’ve done for the community.

I’ve known Jon for several years and he was an expert in nutrition and supplements long before he bought this Nutrishop. I’m a regular customer and absolutely love the product. Forza Pro is the tastiest protein powder on the market, I don’t start my workout without my BCCA, Thermovex is a great workout boost, and Nature’s Fuel mixed with reds and greens gives me all day natural energy along with essential nutrients. Stop in the shop and talk to Jon and April — I guarantee you’ll walk away pleased.

I have been buying supplements here for the last 6 years with no problems. However, yesterday when i came into the store inquiring about purchasing a new protein, the employee was not helpful at all. I waited 15 minutes for him to look up the price while he joked around with other customers at the front desk which I presumed to be his friends. I asked him the difference between two proteins, the vitasport pro7ein and the forza pro protein and he gave me an answer that did not make any sense. He said that the vitasport protein was superior because it contained more servings and more protein per serving. After inspecting both labels, this clearly was not the case. This trip was a complete waste of 30 minutes, and I will never be coming back. I would rather make the drive down to the lake forrest location than come back here.

I love this Nutrishop! The new owners Jon and April are so awesome. Friendly and helpful… I usually end up staying awhile to chat with them after I’ve made my purchases. They are really knowledgeable about all of their products and always have great sales/​deals going on! My new go-​to spot for all of my supplements. oh, and Quest bars, of course!

Went here for the first time the other day. Mike helped me out and he was so friendly and really knew what he was talking about. I seemed to come on the right day because everything I needed/​wanted was on sale or had some sort of promo going on. Thanks to Mike and the great sales this store offered, i will be coming back very soon and bringing friends too.

I will never shop here again. This store engages in false advertising to get you in the door.

I walked into Nutrishop in Ladera Ranch about 2 months ago hopeless with no energy and tried everything. I believe i was burning muscle at my workouts as i was so tired the rest of the day, so Barbara explained the importance of the protein immediately after workout to help your body not burn the mucsle and keep you energized without that afternoon lull!!! Barbara put me on a program and now i jsut cant even sit still, my house is cleaned, my migraines have almost diminished and my skin problems have totally cleared up. I AM NOT kidding!!! I am so happy and feel so good with these products. Go see her, she is there today~!

My husband just started a program that the owner suggested for him and he loves it. I can see the weight loss and he feels really fit with a lot more energy. Its great to go to a shop like this and have someone actually know so much about nutrition. She has even written her own book about nutrition that is really helpful. I highly recommend this location.

Great Shop, well equipted and VERY friendly staff… They have very low prices on my favorite Protein shakes and many to choose from also. I WILL ALWAYS go there from now on… Totally Recommend this location.
