Some of my former co-​workers used Olympus Computer Services in the past so I was aware of the company’s stellar reputation. I checked Unilocal and saw that its reputation was still flawless and they sent John over. He was great! He ran diagnostics and identified the problem in less than an hour.
He had the part readily available and it wasn’t overpriced. I didn’t think they’d come that prepared so I was prepared to go to Fry’s but that wasn’t necessary. My mother’s very happy with her computer right now. We had a bunch of questions and he patiently answered them all. He was really helpful and was straightforward with everything. He was done in a little over an hour and the computer is running nicely!

Ari is professional, honest, and does what he says he will do. If your pc crashes Ari can tell you why. He is a level 1 tech, and a good one. He picked up the pc at my residence, called to let me know what was going on, and recommended a course of action. He dropped off the pc, new hard drive installed.

Ari is fantastic! I came across his profile after getting on Unilocal to find a computer repair specialist to fix my son’s new gaming computer that wasn’t working properly. Ari came out right away, diagnosed the problem quickly, and proposed multiple solutions. He even talked with my son about his needs and wants for the system. After we decided which solution route to take, Ari came back to our house to pick up the computer and returned it to us the next day. It has worked beautifully ever since. Even better news, I no longer have a grumpy teenager! Thanks Ari! I’m referring everyone I know to him!

My computer was inoperable after a Windows update and I needed it immediately. I found Ari on Unilocal,and I have to say he is worth every one of the five stars everyone has given. First of all, my computer has never been faster, even when it was new! He cleaned it up and after trying several other things, determined it was probably the update, which it was, and rolled it back. I am so happy, I added him immediately to my list of permanent contacts. Also, he quoted an estimated price and time in advance and insisted on sticking to that, even when the time was way over. This man is a gem!

Fixed my girlfriend’s laptop over the weekend so she could have it to start school! Ari did a great job and added some add’l features to help prevent the issues again.

Ari really, really helped me out when my PC froze up on me the other day — I had contacted him through his website and he replied to me even though it was after hours (which really meant a lot to me as I was rather panicked). He works fast, keeps you in the loop the entire time, his prices are very reasonable, and he makes you feel like he genuinely wants to help you.

Did an absolutely amazing job on fixing both my computers! Went above and beyond what I needed him to do. This is your guy for Computer problems. He’s a million times better than Geek Squad, (they charged me over $ 500 and did nothing!!) He is on time and will tell you what will need to be done and gets that computer running like brand new! Ari did an amazing job with our office computer. Right when we thought we had to spend another $ 5,000 on a new office computer, Ari came to the rescue and reset it back to factory condition, wiping out any viruses and malfunctions we had with our computer. He even fixed what is known as the GREAT BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH.

He took one of my computers home to clean up and remove malware. His fees were very reasonable and he is very professional. Also, he responds quickly to emails and answers all my computer questions. Just contacted them about a fairly simple hardware repair on my laptop. They showed no interest in it and referred me elsewhere. Don’t think I’ll be calling back or giving any referrals.

The first person to recommend Olympus Computer Services was my 70-​year-​old computer-​illiterate boss. Knowing her, she would recommend anybody who can install Windows, a very easy task. Another guy in my office was close to the business so he went there. This one was very computer literate but was very grateful for Olympus and Ari, the owner. My co-​worker was billed far less than he anticipated. I used to have another person fix my computer who was also a friend but he owed me so much and never paid me back. I wanted somebody else to look at my new desktop which started going slower after a few months of use after heavy use (mostly video editing and marketing stuff). I checked Unilocal and even checked the filtered reviews on Olympus. A lot of times, negative reviews get filtered presumably by the owner of the company not wanting a blemish. In this case, all the filtered reviews were positive and all visible reviews were positive as well. Each and every review had five stars so I had him look at my desktop several months ago. He was done the same day my courier dropped it off. Everything in the computer was intact. Usually, I’m missing a thing or two after repairs but not in this case. I am also computer literate and very rarely need somebody to look at my computer since I usually fix things myself. Ari is really good and my courier’s mother had him work on her computer too. Five stars easy, I’d give him more if I could!

What a great guy and even better business man. He knows how to keep the customer happy, that’s for sure. We are very satisfied with Ari’s work and appreciate all he did for the price he charged. Ari is the person to call if you have any computer needs or issues. He’s one of the most honest and fair business persons I have ever had contact with. He’s a hard worker and wants to make sure that you are happy and satisfied.
I got a new computer, and needed to have everything moved over from the old one, plus I had some wifi issues. He gave us a quote over the phone to do the work, and it was exactly what he charged — even though it took many hours more to do everything. He arrived on time, with everything he needed — and thought he’d need — to handle the issues. In the past, I have paid much more money for much less work!

Five Stars — Arie was honest, patient, and my age 74 mom was very happy with the results.
The background is that I live SF 400 miles away from my mom and she was having computer internet issues. Since I wasn’t able to help her, I looked to Unilocal to help me find an honest/​reliable computer guy. Arie’s Olympus Computer Services came up with the highest reviews. Although the internet (DSL was down and came back up before Arie showed up), Arie still patiently spent time with my mom to show her how to do many of things she wanted to on the computer, ranging from searching for files and learning how to attach emails, etc…
Overall, my mom was so pleased with Arie and his positive attitude that she plans to tell her entire senior housing community about him.

I’ve worked in the IT industry for over 27 years. Ari is one of the best professional technicians I’ve run across in my career. I called on Ari to help me diagnose a problem with my laptop. Most of the indications were leaning towards a bad hard drive. By a process of diligent and careful elimination, Ari determined that the issue with my laptop was the motherboard. Ari spent a lot of time with me and charged me a MOST reasonable fee for all his troubles. It was the extra steps that Ari took that prevented me from having to buy another hard drive when the real problem was the motherboard. He’s a man you can trust with your computer and your wallet.

Very friendly and professional. Arie puts in 100% to try and get things fixed. That’s a credit to him as most people these days I find pretty lazy. He resolved about 95% of my problems… all critical issues taken care of, which is great. But there are a few very very minor things that aren’t resolved yet. He’s trying to figure them out even after his work has been signed off on and paid for.
I also used his services a 2^nd time for my laptop and everything was done promptly and correctly. 100%.
I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a hard working trustworthy tech support.

After downloading messenger from a fake site, I was unable to access or do anything on my laptop. I called Ari after looking at the Unilocal review and being new in area, Ari arrived
after an hour and half of the phone call and fixed the computer and got all my files back in the original place in less than two hours. Ari is great! And definitely save a lot of headache.

I found Ari on Unilocal.My work computer got a virus that I couldn’t kick and it prohibited me from doing my work. I called Ari in the late afternoon after battling this thing for a couple hours and he came to me 1^st the thing the next day. I’m not sure if he normally works in the field, but I was local so it wasn’t a problem. He showed up 30 minutes early which I appreciated because I told him the earlier, the better. I NEEDED to be up and working!
Nice guy. Got the job done for less than what most places are charging and he came to me. I called around and places were charging at least 20% more (minimum) than what he charged and would take 1 – 2 days. I was up and working 1.5 hours after he came in for a flat rate.
I highly recommend his services.
