I’ve been proudly serving families in Contra Costa County since 2003. My center provides a positive, caring, One-​on-​One, individualized program that helps children improve and gain skills and confidence in all of their language arts skills. I work with children from Preschool through 5^th Grade.

I have taught and tutored children in many East Bay schools from Alameda to San Ramon. My center has successfully helped many students grow to their full potential.

I believe in building good relationships with students, families, schools and the community.

History

Established in 2003.

I started my business in 2003 and have been at my present location

(next to Trader Joe’s in Lafayette) for 10 years.

I became a teacher and a Reading Specialist because one of my own children struggled with reading. I know how hard it is for children who are not at grade level and the importance of early intervention. I also know how hard it is for parents to watch their children struggle.

I taught Kindergarten and 1^st grade for many years and was a Reading Specialist in the San Ramon School District. I have been in the education field for over 25 years.

Business Owner

My name is Christine LaFaille and I opened ABC Reading Center in 2003. I am a Credentialed Teacher and Reading Specialist and received my degrees from St. Mary’s College in Moraga. I have over 25 years of teaching experience and have taught and tutored children in many East Bay schools from Alameda to San Ramon. I am also a mother and grandmother and love working with children and watching them grow.
