I want to recommend Jan at Shamrock pools and fiberglass he did a great job for me on my pool the guys that came were polite and friendly they came on time they were friendly. they did a great job they got done very quickly and were very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.

Jan gave me a fair price and laid out a plan to resurface my pool that included clear milestone definitions and payments. He showed up on time, was clean and professional. I especially appreciate how he kept me up to date daily with email messages of his progress. He guaranteed his work and I’m happy to refer him.

I must be honest and say I was a little hesitant to hire Shamrock Fiberglass after reading all the negative Unilocal reviews but after meeting with Jan and getting a very reasonable estimate I decided to go with them and I’m glad I did. I bought a house with a pool that needed resurfacing (lots and lots of pop outs) and didn’t want plaster, but the other estimates I got for glass were around $ 16K and I just didn’t have that much money to spend on it, Shamrock came in much lower (even lower than the plaster estimates) and still gave a 6yr work guarantee.
Jan was here every day with his assistant Lalo, other reviews mentioned that they thought he just subbed out his jobs but I have to say he was very hands on with the work, doing most of it himself, he was always available when I had questions or concerns and I found him very easy and pleasant to work with.
I think if I had been more picky about what tiles I wanted it may have been more pricey but I was OK with a nice basic look. I even got bull nose bricks instead of coping for the same estimated price, and the end result was very nice.
The work was finished on schedule after I expressed to Jan that it needed to be finished, even though that meant they worked late on Christmas Eve to get the job done.
A couple of weeks after the job was done my pool guy mentioned that he thought the pipe running from the skimmer was blocked with debris from the resurfacing, I called Jan and he came out the next day to check it out. Turned out that the pipe had been capped at an earlier date and was not clogged.
I would recommend Jan and his company to friends and family based on the experience/​results I got. My pool looks great and I can’t wait for summer.

Actually I give then 3.5 stars based on some recent responsiveness in the issue mentioned earlier — the «crack» in the grout line on the Decking that meets the coping tiles. After their attempt to repair/​fix it a month ago, it cracked once again. Jan actually came out on a Sunday to look at it & give us options — one of them being to rip out the grout and put in an expansion joint of mastic material. We have yet to decide what we want to do, but just wanted to mention the fact that they HAVE been quite responsive after-​the-​fact with this particular issue.

Well, to say the least… Shamrock Pools has yet another victim. After reading all the previous Unilocal,all I can say is DITTO.
Scammed out of thousands of dollars, faulty equipment, substandard work, lack of communication, breach of contract and destruction of property. I agree, do NOT HIRE SHAMROCK POOLS, if they are still in business. Feel free to contact for more information including photos.
