11th Moon

I was a little hesitant to walk into this higher-​end store, thinking that I’d encounter a snooty/​cold/​uninterested owner, but my experience couldn’t be further from that!
Virginia (the owner and buyer) was extremely friendly, taking the time to meet my mom, brother and me. Aside from the excellent customer service, she has outstanding taste and carries some of my favorite designers (along with plenty of lesser-​known ones as well).
What a delightful and refreshing shopping experience. Will be going back as soon as my wallet will allow!

Had a wonderful time shopping at 11^th Moon during my recent visit to Laguna Beach! The owner, Virginia showed me spectacular hospitality and a fantastic experience. As soon as I walked in she immediately started pulling pieces that looked great on me and was on point, me! It was like she had known me for years! Immediate friends, I greatly appreciated the time she took while I tried her beautiful pieces on and helped me style everything perfectly! She dressed me in the most AMAZING Stouls leather pants and paired it with the most unique sweaters, vest and coats! I walked out of there with the most amazing pieces and for a great price! Definitely recommend a visit! You will not regret it!

By far the BEST consumer service I’ve ever experienced. I called in the morning to ask if they still had a pair of Dieppa Restrepo shoes in-​store because I was going to be in the area later that day. Not only did Jane put that pair aside for me, she found shoes similar and set that aside as well (so considerate).
As soon as I walked into the store, it was like she had known me for years and KNEW exactly what I liked. It was like shopping with one of my girlfriends… who happened to know a lot about the merchandise. She was so helpful and genuine, I’m definitely going to come back once I’m in the area again.
Oh! And the shoes I bought were originally $ 335 and were on sale for $ 160! Such a great deal! That is why I gave this boutique $$ rather than $$$$ (they have an amazing sale section). I wore them immediately to a meeting and received so many compliments!
The buyer for 11^th Moon is amazing as well. Such a well curated boutique. So many amazing brands that you can’t find anywhere else.

so i just discovered this place through a 50% off refinery29 deal and what did i find? oh good god– rachel comey boots on sale in the most amazingly voluptuous shade of warm purple patent leather!!! and in my size! and won hundred jeans on sale too, woo! then i found out their website wasn’t encrypted (yet!) so i called to order over the phone which led to a conversation with the owner who is very cool and helpful and used to live a few blocks from me way back when in nyc…
anyway, she was a lot of fun to talk to and i asked her why i’d never seen the penpal boots in this color anywhere. she explained that designers make to order for boutiques and many things are possible but not many stores end up ordering them. hence the hegemony of black, grey and whiskey, not that there’s anything wrong with that! but i gotta praise 11^th moon for originality, bravery and a distinct point of view.
and for having the best customer service bar none. the owner even threw in a VPL cami she thought would look good with the boots when she saw i still had some credit left on the R29 code! i mean, who does things like that? this is the kind of store where i could pay full price and not feel bad about it– did the queen of ebay and housing works thrift stores just say that?!? yes, yes i did.
i can’t wait to visit this store in person next time i’m in la. i’m going to start saving up now for the next treasure hunt– even if it ends up being expensive it’s so damned good it’s guilt free!

Run into the boutique while trying to get to the Rooftop bar next door. Wondered in just to check it out and left an hour later with these amazing pieces! Some of their clothes were as much as 70% off their original price! The lady who works there (might be the owner) was extremley helpful and it might have been one of the best unexpected shopping sprees I have ever had.

Exclusive designers, both international & U.S., insanely gorgeous BoHo chic. Luxurious, understated, cool … spendy, but you’re loving what you bought.
