Hanna Ehab MD

Like the reviewer JD, I don’t think this doctor adequately cared for my family member who was undergoing an anxiety and depression attack. The medication he prescribed was ineffective an his advice was downright dangerous.

The reviewer, JD, stated Dr. Ehab is «strictly a pill pusher. That was not my experience at all and I think it’s totally false. I found Dr. Ehab to be very thorough and strictly opposed to «over prescribing» as many doctors do. He put together a treatment plan that is comprised of a minimal amount of medication, or rather the baseline necessary to be effective, whereas other doctors will just liberally prescribe a bunch of medications.
Further, he is opposed to many medications that are commonly prescribed (medications «du jour» that are popular because they are pushed by Big Pharma), but in my opinion are potentially very harmful. He also took the time to get to know me and my circumstances, and was very professional.
I never felt rushed, in contrast to some other doctors who try to rush you out to see as many patients as possible. I was also able to be seen very quickly. I scheduled an appointment on Monday, was seen on Tuesday. So many doctors are not taking new patients, or the wait time for new patients is absurd. Based on my experience, I would have no hesitation recommending Dr. Ehab to others.

I completely disagree with the negative comment below. I’ve been seeing Dr. Hanna for several months now and he’s helped me tremendously! He knew exactly what my issues were and gave me the right medication for it. I’ve never been happier! I highly recommend going to Dr.Hanna.

This Dr. didnt listen to me. He insisted starting me on a course of medicine that has made me really ill in the past. I was being treated for anxiety following several panic attacks. He insisted that I stop drinkiing when I dont drink. He prescribed a very serious medication that has a lot of side effects as his first resort. He did prescribe some anxiety medication but a low dose in a limited amount. As soon as I can find another dr. I will. He always made a lot of sexist type statements, about me not being married and saying that if I didnt take this medication my boyfriend would leave me. He did most of the talking. I told him in the past I had taken wel-​burtrin and it was really really effective for me. He refused to prescribe this to me.

If you care about your or your loved ones mental health, avoid this doctor! Lack of care for my daughter bordered on malpractice. Strictly a pill pusher with no follow through on patient need for counseling or adjunct therapy.
