I had a lock on my front door that was no functioning properly. Within a hour of my call to Absolute, the technician Eric came by. With a no nonsense approach, Eric was able to fix the lock expediently and efficiently. Thanks for the quick turnaround and great customer service.

We got locked out of our garage (opener stopped working and the key would not fit into emergency release lock). I called Absolute Locksmith and Ben arrived within 30 minutes. He was polite, knowledgeable and walked me through the mechanics of a emergency release lock and what my options were. After he completed replacing our emergency release kit. I asked Ben if he had time to look at a few other issues around the house. He said «of course» and I had him install a lock on our sliding door and he re-​hung our front door (it was not shutting properly after our remodel).
I highly recommend Ben and Absolute Locksmith. Thank you for a great customer experience.

I was excited to have a good locksmith so nearby and close to my home and business. I am a realtor and refer locksmiths all the time.
I called in for Absolute to come and open a safe in my closet because I saw one of their employees doing a job down the street and he gave me confidence that he would be able to crack it. I finally called and they sent someone out. The locksmith was nice and did complete the work (not cracking the safe, he drilled it and I am not even sure the safe is secure), however when I was presented with a $ 662 bill for opening a safe and replacing with a new locking mechanism, I was in shock. He gave me a very vague verbal quote initially $ 200 but never clarified what it would take to put in a new lock. 2.5 hours later, a large invoice and a locking mechanism with 2 screws, I feel like I was taken to the cleaners. Not good business in this day and age to work like that.
When I complained, he took the $ 25 trip charge off the bill because I live up the hill from their office. So disappointed and I will NEVER refer this company again. Make sure to get a proper estimate beforehand and do not allow them to start until you know what the complete cost will be. If Ben told me it would have been that much, I would have left it alone. And not started the work. Very disappointed customer

Wanted to say thank you for an incredible save! Went to a friends house last night for halloween party and locked myself out… Yes, i know, doesn’t suit me. But it happened so what can you do? Looking around for a locksmith at 5am isn’t the best thing to start the morning off with. Anyway, gor on Unilocal,got a few numbers and the only ones that actually picked up the phone like it was 4 in the afternoon was these guys. 20 min later james showed up, did a clean work with no chip an elctrical problems like evrybody else said it’s going to be and sent me on my way. They saved me cause i was out of cash and figured no one is going to accept a credit card over the phone, surprisingly enough he called the office, ran the card and sent me on my way. Great customer experience, let’s say that hopefully i am not going to get stuck outside my car again, but if i do, i saved them in my contact list. Thank u guys!

Ben came out to our house at no extra charge to copy a broken key. I also had him cut my Toyota key which he did. He even gave me the test keys he made that will open my doors for free. There was no pressure when I decided to not have him program one of my keys. Absolutely use these guys, they’re professional and they answer the phone which a plus with these kinds of services.

Great experience. I saw the van parked outside my neighbor’s house. Home Depot made two sets of bad keys that didn’t work. I’ve been putting off getting them replaced for some time, but I was hesitant to go back to Home Depot because I knew I would come home and yet again it wouldn’t work.
Anyways, I saw the van and approached the man inside, Ben, and asked him if he made keys. He said yes and that he would drop by my door when he was done with his current customer.
Ben helped me with my «smart lock» which did not accept my Home Depot keys (well, they only worked with a lot of jabbing and wiggling). Anyways Ben took the time to explain the situation and shared what the whole smart lock thing was. He did not make me a new set of keys. Instead he fixed the lock. What a concept! So yes, very happy.
Ben also kindly made an extra set of mailbox keys and walked to my mailbox with me to make sure it worked.
I’m very happy and highly recommend. Courteous, kind, and honest.

Don’t use these guys if you don’t want to get ripped off.
Quote on the phone $ 25 travel+ $ 15min.
The tech came out said whatever price he wants, $ 100 for a simple re-​key, $ 240 to install a new lock. … blah blah blah. These guys are insane, is there a goverment control over locksmith? they ask for what they want.
If you want him to leave, he asks for $ 45 if you don’t want the service.

I locked my keys in my trunk and called to have them come out to unlock my door to access the trunk release button. Eric the technician was very friendly and courteous… I didn’t wait more than 35 min for him to show up which I thought was a bonus. The pricing was little inconsistent but I paid and voiced my concerns to Eric, he said he would let the office know and apologized for any confusion.
A couple of hours later I received a call from Lilly one of the owners apologizing for the misinformation that I received. She was very calm and had a great customer service attitude. We talked about the situation and she decided to refund me back some of the money that I spent. I’m a fair and reasonable person and when dealing with a business I would expect the same treatment.
I believe Lilly and Eric are why they have excellent reviews.

These guys are great. I had them cut in create programmable keys when we lost our last set. Ben came out on a weekend NFL playoff day, prompt and courteous, explained my options and the costs, and cut me a new set of masters. The cost for these programmable keys is expensive, but comparable to other quotes I received. I received a much lower quote from another company in the area but then wasn’t able to get them to contact me back, so I guess you pay for dependable and reliable service.
I use them to cut some replacement keys for my classic VW bug also, which most people can’t do, or don’t have blanks in stock.
The people in the shop are courteous, and more straight forward than congenial, but it’s a key shop, not a day spa.
These guys (and gal) do good work. I don’t wonder if the keys will work well. we always test amount, and it’s convenient that it’s a drive-​through service.

I came down from Santa Monica today to visit a friend and was planning to go back tonight to get some camo keys made from my guy in the Lincoln Albertson’s lot.
As I left Starbucks in Laguna — PSL in hand — this drive thru 24⁄7 locksmith appeared before me. Magical! They have a solid variety of custom keys and are really efficient for a reasonable price.
Plus Karen works there and that might be reason enough to lose your house key.
