I provide mobile computer services to both residential and commercial clients. Specializing in PC or Laptop repair (both hardware and software). I offer a wide variety of services including networking (wired or wireless), virus /​malware removal, OS repair or restoration, data recovery, data backup solutions, PC installs (including peripheral installations i.e. printers, scanners), and IT services and consultation.

History

Established in 2003.

I have worked many years as e tech support manager /​IT consultant for a company named General Procurement. They offered custom made PC’s to companies like CompUSA, Tiger Direct, and TelMex. In 2003, I decided to go on my own because of a need for onsite service was in demand and the companies that offered were charging too much. I wanted to offer computer services at an affordable cost.

I have been in business for myself for the last 8−9yrs. Specializing in PC /​Laptop Repair, Computer Networking, Virus Removal, and Business IT Consulting and Implementation.

I have certification with Microsoft, Apple, Novell, and CompTia.

I also am a certified technician for Dell, HP, Toshiba, and Sony.

When my Sony Viao wouldn’t turn on, I checked around Unilocal and found Bill’s Computer Repair. Called him, set an appt for the next day and he called indicated he was close, and was on time. Bill indicated it may be the motherboard, I agreed for him to repair my Sony. Two days later he called indicated the motherboard was hard to find, however he found one on Ebay at a good price, I gave the go ahead to order the item. Three days later he said he received the motherboard, but it was defective, so he ordered another one. The second board worked, Bill was in constant contact with me via the telephone, he was meticulous and returned the laptop a few days later. It works perfect. He price was fair, his timing for repair was excellent, and I have nothing but praise for his work and communication. I won’t hesitate to use him again and refer him to friends. Thanks Bill

I had a failing hard drive on my laptop. I looked on Unilocal and Bill was number one listed. I called him up and was pleasantly surprised. He was very patient and answered all my questions thoroughly. We set up an allotted time appointment. On the day of the appointment he calls prior to arrival as a reminder. Btw he offers free pickup and delivery of your merchandise. He comes over and we talk a few. He’s a very friendly and professional guy. Loves to tell stories, definitely not a robot. He explains everything he will have to do and its written on proper paperwork /​invoice. Bill just does what necessarily have to be done, nothing more. For me he did something much simpler and quicker saving me money on labor. Thanks again Bill ! He returns my laptop on the dot. Everything I have to say was smooth. At first, I was frustrated with my laptop but Bill was a godsend. I couldn’t be any happier. Definitely recommend.

I have used Bill’s Computer Repair since moving to Laguna Niguel. and have found Bill to be extremely reputable, reliable, affordable, and most importantly he knows his stuff. How many computer repair companies can replace a computer component in one trip to your home? Not many. Most other repair guys need two visits one to diagnose the problem and then another trip to replace the component. Not Bill! He diagnosed my problem on phone and carried the part in his truck and replaced the defective component on one visit and I was up and running in less than one hour.

Found him here on Unilocal… Had something going on with our laptop. He told us upfront what it was going to cost for parts and labor and what not and plus he comes to you so that is a plus so we went ahead and did it and it was a good thing too cause he let us know how we got the viruses and other issues we were having issues with and replacing some of the parts in about three hours. He told us what to look for and what not to access and so on he is very knowledgeable and does things right and doesnt tell you that you need more than what you actually do which is rare now adays. Very happy with what he did with our computer and will go back to him if we should ever need to again.

Yesterday, my computer ended up getting a virus and completely locking up on me. I had called Best Buy, but they were requiring me to sign up for a whole computer repair program for $ 200 and it was going to be at least 3 – 5 business days to fix. So I decided to google local computer repair places, and found Bill’s Computer Repair reviews on Unilocal.He came to my home a few hours later and fixed my computer quickly, charging a fraction of Best Buy. He was very friendly and professional, and had a lot of knowledge. And he was great with my two large dogs that were begging for his attention the whole time he was here, something that a lot of people don’t really like very much. I absolutely recommend this service and I will use Bill again if the need comes about.

Bill did virus removal, basic tuneup and reconfigured wireless on my hopeless sony vaio computer. He is truly terrific and knows his stuff. Afterall his dad was a computer pioneer in the 1950’s! Don’t go anywhere else but to Bill’s.he is the best!
