Originally doing business as STUDIO 7 Architecture + Planning from 1987 through 2005, Kim Quon then worked for general contractors from 2005 – 2013. He then returned to private practice in 2013.

Business Owner

Kim Quon has been licensed as an architect since 1987 and as a civil engineer since 1981. He was self-​employed from 1987 to 2005 doing business as STUDIO 7 Architecture + Planning. In 2005 he closed the practice to work for General Contractors. He worked as a resident architect /​design-​build manager for EDGE Development, Macro-​Z Technology, Straub Construction, and Hal Hays Construction from 2005 to 2013. In 2013, Kim returned to private practice having obtained a very valuable construction background. Kim’s California architect license is C18103 and his California civil license is C33456. He carries all of the appropriate professional insurances.
