Lakeshore Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

One of the best experiences I have had with a doctors office. I had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr.Krakowiak. I was nervous about the whole thing including going under anesthesia. But from the first call the staff made me feel much more at ease and when I came in for my first appointment I was very happy with the office as a whole. The staff was friendly, the office is beautiful and the doctor has a great bedside manner which is hard to find in doctors these days. I was brought back for the consultation and one of the treatment coordinators walked me through what to expect and then after that the doctor came in to do his exam. I was really well prepared for my surgery after my consultation. My treatment coordinator helped to take care of arranging all the finances for the surgery and scheduling my appointment, and they worked with my really busy schedule! The surgery went very well and I was very comfortable for the rest of the day. They gave me some great medicine for pain afterwards and I only needed it for a couple days. The Surgical Staff called me later in the evening after my surgery to check on me which was so sweet and very helpful since I had a couple questions. They made me feel well cared for. I would Highly recommend Lakeshore for anyone who is in need of Oral surgery!

My history with Dr. K goes back to 2009 when he removed a tumor in my jaw and he reconstructed the entire lower jawbone for me. I believe he is the best oral surgeon in California and I have spoken to other people who have worked with him that agree. I have recommended him to random people and friends for years now.

BEST Doctor experience in years… why can’t all doctors run their office like this. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr.Krakowiak. It was a process that I was not looking to go through it all however after it was all finished I was really happy I chose Lakeshore for the place to do my surgery. I was sent to another doctor but my friend recommended Dr.K. The entire team was there to support me. I was really well prepared for my surgery after my consultation and had some reasonable expectations of my recovery course. My treatment coordinator helped to take care of arranging all the insurance paperwork and helped me set up my co pays and some financing to cover my share of cost. It wasn’t as much as I thought it was going to be considering it was a full jaw surgery with a board-​certified surgeon under general anesthesia. The surgery went very well and I was very comfortable for the rest of the day. They gave me some great medicine for pain afterwards and after a couple days I felt pretty well back to normal. I got a very reassuring post op call and complimentary follow up visit. I had a question after hours so I called the after hours number and the doctor himself answered and we chatted for a few minutes. Real nice touches. They made me feel well cared for. Highly recommend Lakeshore for anyone who has to have jaw surgery.

Dr. Krakowiak has been taking care of my children’s dental needs so when I needed some dental work I naturally gave his office a call. Dr. K. is very professional, and his staff are helpful and everyone here goes the extra mile. If you are bringing your kids in for a wisdom teeth consultation, he will show a video of the process to the teen so they have no question as to what will be happening. His equipment is state of the art, my dentist referred my son here because he has complicated dental issues. Dr. K’s Xray equipment was able to view what other dental offices could not.
You will leave your appointment with very clear instructions for the best recovery. After each procedure, his staff calls to make sure you are doing ok. I can say that with his guidance and his expertise in diagnosing and treating my dental issues, I am pain free for the first time in many months.
On a side note, the waiting area for family members is very comfortable and there are a selection of movies to enjoy while waiting to drive the patient home.

Dr. K is great and he did a great job on my Fiancé but his staff seems to be in it for the money especially since they wear regular clothes and aren’t dressed as «dental assistants» besides they charge a lot just to get wisdom teeth extracted. They need to keep things professional and not personal.

I am sorry to report this but really… someone calls in pain and is told the next appointment is over 2 weeks away and then the person at the office says, «Can you last this long?»…uhhhh.no I can’t «last» this long… I guess me saying I have an abscess indicates I can wait 2 weeks. You know an office doesn’t care when you tell them you have an abscess and you get an appointment 2 weeks later.
I understand how it goes but don’t you have a certain amount of time that you leave open daily for emergencies? If you don’t then you’re the first dental facility I ever dealt with that didn’t. And being in the dental business I have dealt with hundreds of offices. I have PPO insurance ~ 2 policies to be exact. So it’s not like you weren’t going to get paid. I found an office that was much more accommodating and was able to get me in within a few days instead of a couple of weeks. I’m still in a bit of disbelief that even after saying I was in pain and had an abscess I was basically blown off. Had I not just had emergency surgery I wouldn’t have had this tooth turn so bad so fast but whatever. This is why good dental care is important… you don’t want to have an emergency and have to call around for help!

I took my father who is a special needs, dementia patient. I can’t tell you what a difficult patient he is. My father was treated with kindness and the upmost respect by Dr. Krakowiak and his staff.

Dr. K and his staff are amazing! I was referred here by my daughters ped. Dentist. He told me there was no specialist that were pediatric Oral surgeons… (just one for adults thru kids).
I was really nervous that he might not relate well to kids but boy was I wrong! He talked directly to my daughter (9 years old) explained everything and asked if she had any questions he also made it fun and light and not all scary and medical then talked to me! He has young children so this def. helps! He also teaches at a well known So. Cal college… USC (if I remember correctly) and I’m pretty sure one if his classes is pediatric anesthesia! This put my mind at ease!
From consult to after care everything was top notch (not to mention my daughter healed wonderfully). He and the staff take their time and make you feel safe & welcome! Thanks Dr. K! Well be back if we ever need more oral surgery

Had to visit this location based on a referral from our dentist for my daughter. The office is beautiful. Looks brand new, although I am not sure how long it has been there. The staff is professional and friendly. The ortho we met with was informative and helpful and we were in and out.
we will have to work with him to get my daughters braces, so I am happy this location is nice, close to home and clean.

So, so impressed! I wish all medical practices were run this well. Dr. Krakowiak and his staff are all very professional, welcoming, and funny! Our daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and we waited in a very nice waiting area and watched a movie. Everything healed well, so we would recommend Lakeshore to anybody! (I might add that on our way home our loopy, post-​anesthesia daughter kept crying saying «the lady was SO nice to me! They were all SO nice to me!»

Dr. Krakowiak and his entire staff are fantastic. They genuinely care about your well being. The Doctor is kind, gentle and knowledgeable. The staff provides assistance in any way possible. They help work appointments around your schedule. I, as is my husband, am very happy with services provided there. We highly recommend this Doctor and his staff and the services they provide. The office is nicely decorated and comfortable and they have state of the art equipment. The before and after care is great.

This place is great! I came in with an aching tooth and notice hardly anyone there, which is a great thing! I felt like a patient and not just another customer. When I received my scan for all of my teeth. Dr Peters explained to me in detail on why all 7 tooth needed to be removed, at first I was a bit worried and didn’t feel like I need to remove them. After doing some research about the information that I got, I figured Peters is very correct on what he suggested. After going home for a day and forgetting which teeth needed to be removed, I called in and asked for details on my teeth again. All of the receptionists that I spoke to were very nice, patient, kind, and took the time to listen plus explain all 7 tooth in detail for me. This team is a very knowledgeable and hard working! I even got an estimate for tooth implants if I wanted one due for next year. Dr Peters was nice enough to give me 1 Bone Replacement Graph, Infuse Bone Graft for a Sinus Augmentation, and 1 Bio Mat Tissue Regen at no cost! Saving me over $ 500. I was very nervous when going in and viewing the seat in the center of the surgery room. Everyone was very friendly and answered all my nervous questions. My surgery was painless, after I woke up it was done! I highly recommend this place and Dr. Krakowiak to anyone and everyone looking for an oral surgeon, although it’s not a gaurantee that you will get the free items that I got as a courtesy! =)

I was referred here and I had all four wisdom teeth removed in one go, and Dr. Krakowiak and his staff made a dreaded experience pass by smoothly. They are extremely hospitable, and aside from their beautiful office, they were with me every step of the way. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed here and I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Not only do they practice good medicine here, but they also have amazing customer service. The staff is very friendly and hospitable.
Maybe I do usually heal pretty fast and have a high tolerance for pain, but I must acknowledge the role of Dr. Krakowiak’s surgical expertise in my smooth and quick recovery. You don’t have to know anything about surgery to tell he knows what he is doing.
Coming from Temecula, the extra drive to go here was totally worth it for the top-​notch experience.

Dr. Krakowiak is certainly dedicated to his patients. It was our first time seeing him today. My daughter went to her dentist office and was referred to an oral surgeon. We were initially referred to another oral surgeon but the soonest they could see us was the next day. As any concerned parent, I was desparate to see someone today. My dentist office gave me a card to Dr. Krakowiak and asked me to give them a call. They were able to see me in an hour. Dr. Krakowiak and his staff are awesome. We felt comfortable and new we were in great hands. Dr. Krakowiak took the time to discuss my daughters care and referred us to Dr. Silberman in Murrieta who saw us right away and also took good care of us. thanks for your outstanding services.

My 16 yo son had all four of his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Krakowiak about two weeks ago, everything went as smoothly as it could possibly go for such a painful procedure.
