This place is so tight. Its a small family owned liquor store and I live within walking/skating distance and it’s the only liquor store in lake forest that sells tall cans of colt 45. It would be cool if they got 40oz of colt 45 but it’s ok I’m still given them 5 stars.

Liquor on the Rock is a great little liquor store for when you need to pop in and pickup a 6 pack of beer on the way to a party or bbq. I grabbed a 6 pack of corona extra for about $ 8.59 this weekend. Its not the cheapest but there was no grocery store check out line. I was able to drop in, grab my stuff and hit the road. They also have a bunch of non-alcoholic stuff, food, candy and the usual liquor store staples.

This place has been here FOREVER! Probably since Lake Forest became it’s own city like 25 years ago. Anyways, the manager is always super nice. Although this is pretty much a dead zone, since pretty much every restaurant or business that’s been in this little row of shops has closed down… but only this«Liqour on the Rock» stands!

Welcome my inner alcoholic. :) I love this place, I really do!!! It’s run by an Asian family(and has been for YEARS). They are so nice and friendly and the store is always spotlessly clean!!! This is the only store that has really survived in this little run down strip mall off El Toro that’s tucked away in a long few blocks of just residential(all the other stores keep coming and going). I’m sure If you don’t travel down El Toro between Trabuco and Portola, you don’t know this place exists because it’s the ONLY shopping place on El Toro in that 3ish mile stretch. I love this place because it’s less than a mile from my house, and if I want to work to get my alcohol, well, I can just walk here. :) I find the most interesting beers here… found a beer called Dead Guy Ale here tonight… and because of the name alone, I bought it!!! Anyway, I’m loving it!!! If you’re in the area, stop by this nice little liquor store, you won’t regret it!
