$ 4.99 for a 15 ounce tea, but the counterpersons s@#% attitude was free. WOW. The pumpkin spice Brule oolong wasn’t even that good.

I’m telling you, with all the tea I have I could open my own shop… so when I saw Teavana opened in the Smith Haven Mall which is close by I had to stop in. What really caught my attention was the line wrapping around the store just to taste the free fresh samples at the entrance/exit of the store. The teas are great quality and so are their pots, kettles, etc but my biggest issue is how damn expensive they are. It’s insane! For that, they get 4 stars AND I hardly shop here because if you do, expect to be spending up to or way above $ 100+ each time. No bueno :/

Delicious but pricey tea selections. Owned by Starbucks now so at least a purchase here counts towards your loyalty points program. There are a lot of loose teas that they carry which are sold by the ounce, or specialized tea kits. Herbal, chai, fruit flavored, oolong, hot, cold, etc. They also carry a large selection of metal and ceramic tea pots, teas accessories, tea settings, tea makers, and other tea related merchandise. Some awesome stuff here if you are a tea lover. Store is a bit smaller than some other locations but offers most of the same as the larger spots. The staff here are knowledgeable, but man do they push the hard sell on you. Ease off tiger I’m just looking around. They bring you around the store and explain everything to you while also letting you taste a few different teas they have brewing. They had a few in urns outside the store to try and the cold Youthberry was refreshing and delish! Definitely worth a buy.

I visited TEAVANA in Smith Heaven Mall for the first time yesterday. I was impressed by professional service from Manjun. The store is well kept and clean. Plenty sample refreshments available. Overall great experience! But I was expected that since the business is maintained by Starbucks :)

All Teavana employees work on commission, so they’re always trying to sell you more to make some money. It leads to an uncomfortable environment. Sometimes I’d like to buy 2 ounces of tea without them trying to upsell me into a tin. There’s actually a whole speech they’re taught to try to sell you certain items. The products they sell are good quality, including their tea. But they’re all overpriced and most can easily be found online for less money. The staff at this particular location are either ultra sugary, fake nice or snotty and rude, but nothing in between. If I do decide to buy Teavana tea I do it online, even if I’m going to be at the mall the same day, only because they make me feel so uncomfortable when I’m shopping. I’ve seen the manager, who seems to be one of the only guys there touch the employees too intimate of a way and it seemed really inappropriate. They seemed somewhat uncomfortable.

I withdraw my last review, something happened today that was magical. I get an email from Starbucks(??) saying I can try a free drink at Teavana? Comes to find out Starbucks owns Teavana? Yay!!! I walked around the mail today with a sexy hot tea! I can’t wait to try more tea flavors. What I noticed? Teavana has these little sugar rocks that they add when they make your tea. I secretly think these rocks are drugs because the end result is highly addictive. $ 3.50 for a large hot fruity tea is molto sexy in my world. Looking good, Billy Ray Feeling good, Louis!
