Havasu was a wonderful time! The staff of wet monkey was groovy until we got back. We got scammed over $ 1K for boat and jet ski «damages».

We rented a RZR 4 1000. Had a great day as a family. Chris (the owner) couldn’t have been more helpful or kind. We really enjoyed our time. Would do it again. If you’re thinking about renting this is a very fair shop with great service. Thanks again!

My husband, parents & I rented the 4 person Polaris 900 razor and went trail riding in the desert. We had a great time! The owner was very friendly and professional. Our razor looked brand new & was an excellent ride. Now my husband thinks he needs one! Thanks for a great day!

These guys are great. If you’re looking for somewhere to rent a boat in Lake Havasu this is your place. We have jet-​skis and have been coming to Lake Havasu for 20 years now but we wanted to rent a boat this trip and I cannot say enough about this place. The people were friendly and the boat ran great! Most importantly, the negative reviews on here sound like they’re coming from people who shouldn’t be on the water in the first place. Take this from someone who has been coming here for 20 years, if you’re looking to rent a boat in Havasu, come here!

Rented an Eptide boat a couple weeks ago. They honored an original email price quote rather than the quote we got the day before. The service was great. Employees were great. Be careful with the prop. They spray paint it before you go out so that they can tell if you scrape anything. We took some paint off going through weeds but they didn’t care. The boat was pretty beat up. (It’s a rental, so don’t act surprised). The boat ran like a champ though, (even with all 10 people on board). Rent two tubes, It’s more fun than one. This place was NOT SHADY at all. They seem like a good business, But don’t be a dumb ass and jack up the rentals because they will charge you for it. We will definitely be back to rent from this place!

I’m excited to write this review because this boat rental shop is worthy of a great review. I had read the reviews about other boat rental shops in the area, and based on the reviews of other Unilocalers I chose this one. So glad I did. Aaron was especially friendly, hard working, and professional. The entire experience was seamless and efficient. Go with this place and don’t forget to tip. Aaron was excellent with launching, providing instructions, and was waiting at the launch to wave us over when we pulled in. He has 4 years of experience with the company and it really shows he enjoys helping people have fun on the water.

Big shout out to Chris, Jake, and the rest of the crew for an awesome week in our Air Nautique!!! Boat ran like a cross between a kitten (purr) and a lion (roar)!! Thanks for all your hard work getting boat ready. This was our second GREAT experience with you guys. Looking forward to seeing you next summer! adiós amigos!

Wet monkey is not professional in any way shape or form, the boat we rented broke down and the guy that picked us up was a complete ass hole and when we confronted him about his attitude he called the cops. That did nothing because we didn’t do anything wrong. FUCK this place and fuck that guy! One star only because I had to, 0 stars there boats and there employees suck!!!

My family and I take a trip to Lake Havasu every year and this is where we go to rent our boats every time. We always rent a pontoon because we aren’t very experienced boat drives just yet so these are best for first time boat drivers. I definitely recommend renting a boat from here the workers are extremely helpful launching. They will take pictures of the life jackets you take out on the boat to make sure they are all returned in the same condition.

But due to customer service Wet Monkey Powersport Rentals earned the 5^th star. Kudos to Junior and Dustin. We arrived a few minutes early as they were washing and prepping the boat little did we know we thought we are going to have a pontoon and we get this awesome speed boat. The prices felt right. The boat was stylish. We got toys to go along with it. They loaded us up. Dropped us in the water and then they were waiting by the water to pick us up on time.
Only complication we had was starting the boat a few times.. An the boat bogging down.
Now I can’t say we are experts so it could have very well been our own problem and not the boats. Besides that. The boat worked great. I warn you. Watch out for the shallow water!

WORST SERVICE EVER. the lady is rude at the counter. They do not tell you anything about responsibility for paying the gas when you get out, and try to take money out of our deposit for scuffs when there was nothing there. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING Somewhere else and giving your money to someone you can trust.

This place met our expectations. We looked at all the reviews and this place has the most so we checked it out. I don’t understand how this place has bad reviews. We had a Bayliner for 2 days. It’s one of the smaller boats in their fleet, but we passed almost everyone on the lake last weekend! They look over the boat and take pictures before you leave. This is for your protection, yes if you bring it back with damage, you pay. We had a little problem hitting the prop with a rock! Be very careful on the lake! It cost us a few bucks in the end, but had a great weekend. They do tell you to be at the dock at the end of the day by 4pm. The guys who drop you off and pick you up where cool too. We would use the Wet Monkey again!

Go somewhere else. One of the owner’s is a jerk. He is rude and very unprofessional. The other owner seemed to be the logical one. Becky in the front is rude combative and very defensive. They charged me twice for the $ 800/​deposit. They gave us a broken boat and charged us to fix it. The guys that pick up and drop off the boats are self proclaimed pot heads. They bought a tall can and brown bagged it when we went to refill the boat with gas. Overall horrible experience. They called us liars, tried to make us pay for a life jacket that was on the boat after they «looked everywhere» my boyfriend pulled the «missing» life jacket right out of the compartment where you would think they would have looked in. And their equipment sucks… UPDATE: I will disclose that I did receive the second $ 800 charge on the deposit about 4 days later but not before they over drafted my account.

I highly recommend these guys for rentals. I rented a Bayliner for one day and two Yamaha jet skis a second day. The reservation process was very easy and the staff was very courteous throughout the entire process.
The first day we arrived and were informed the Bayliner was not available, but to make sure we were taken care of they upgraded us to a deck boat at no cost that ran great. After doing the initial paperwork we were on our way and on the water nearly 30 minutes later. The same story went for the second day with the jet skis. They both ran great and prior to checking them out the staff went over them real well documenting damage to ensure I wouldn’t be responsible for existing damage which was comforting. Another thing, they were always on time at the launch ramp and on the second day we called to come in at 4pm and they were there at 3:45 waiting for us.
Great job all around to everyone at Wet Monkey as we dealt with nearly everyone and have absolutely no complaints just praise. See you next year!

My husband and I rented a Yamaha AR from them today. We had a wonderful time. The staff was extremely friendly. I believe our drivers name was Anthony (shaved head and goatee) he was phenomenal! Was very thorough before launching the boat and was extremely patient with us at pick up. A storm had come in while we were waiting for the trailer. The wind had picked up and the water was extremely choppy. Not to mention everyone had decided to come in at the same time so the dock was very crowded. Anthony was so patient and we couldn’t be more grateful. He definately should get a raise!

Had a great time here. Among so many options, I ended up coming here because at the time, was the best price offered.
I got 2 half day jet sky rental. I liked the equipment and Chris, the guy who walked us thru everything was very cool as well.
Had no problems at all so 5 stars for the company who gave me such a great day.

They will wrongfully charge you for little dents on the boat, even if you have documentation in picture that those dents were there prior to you renting. Please beware of making reservations with this company and their barbaric business practices.

This place is a joke. We had a rental for 2 days and when we were not satisfied with the rental the first day they would not refund the second – and we had told them that first afternoon. They run a poorly operated business and customer service is a low priority. Go to someone else it’s not worth the hassle.
We rented from them in the summer – and they were not closed as Chris will want you to believe.

Don’t go here for a boat rental! We rented a boat this weekend that ran out of gas after 2 hours on the lake (not even getting far and usually around in the no wake zone) after they «supposedly» filled up the gas tank. Do I even mention that they said the fuel gauge was broken?! After the hassle of getting a vessel assistant to bring us gas in the middle of bloody no where, management said there was «nothing we can do». So basically out $ 250 worth of gas for their shotty ass boat.
Go elsewhere if you don’t want to ruin your vacation plans!

We walked in this afternoon looking to rent a ski boat. Wet Monkey had a nice older Bayliner available, perfect for a beginner like me. They explained the $ 800 damage deposit and went over with me how to avoid any damage to the boat. They showed me how to operate the trim, and mentioned that since the boat was carbureted if I had any starting issues, I could just give it a few cranks of the throttle.
We drove the boat for about 5 hours. Saw the people jumping off cliffs, went through the canal and under the London Bridge. Had a nice lunch.
When we returned, we filled up the boat using my card since the boat was rented to me filled. There were no hidden anythings that came up upon return. Wet Monkey was waiting at the launch ramp at 6pm and I did not have to wait.
I have a good feeling about the staff at Wet Monkey and plan to try I bigger, faster ski boat if I’m in Havasu again.
We were here in Havasu for a smart car club event on the London Bridge so I don’t know when I’ll be back…
