I ordered 2 metal prints because of a groupon deal I purchased last July. Took a month to get them and one was just simply put in an envelop and was bent on the way over. I have been told several times they’ll send a replacement but it’s been nearly 9 months now since my order and i still have not gotten a replacement. Would never use them again.

I got a 16×20 metal print groupon and I seem to be one of the few that had a pleasant experience. My print was packaged nicely, and the print itself came out very nice. Is it perfect… of course not I paid $ 20 for it but it and don’t expect it to be Top $$ quality. I cant’ speak for the other products but I’m happy with the metal print and will definitely be getting another and will let you know if I get the same quality.

they aren’t the fastest at processing and shipping so if you need it in a time crunch I suggest going elsewhere.

So far this has been awful. I bought their services on Living Social, placed my order @Dec 12−15^th. Here we are Feb 29^th and still no order I spoke to three different people and got. 3 different responses. First one was sorry it slipped through the cracks we will put a rush on it the second one was it is made and being shipped out today, now I get notice that it is not paid for. How can it not be paid when Living Social sent me a receipt and a voucher number, that I had to forward to the company? At least I got scammed for only a small amount of money.

Update: So Printerpix replied to explain why they needed photos to fix the damaged book. Of course, and I sent them the day they asked for them, but that wasn’t the issue. It was the lack of customer service, and months of delays to get my new book. After reading my review, it’s sad that they missed the main point I was making, There is no excuse for the service that I, and many others who’ve reviewed below, have received.

These guys are a scam… DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! They took several months to send my item, and it arrived damaged, and with the book cover mounted crooked. I tried to reach them to have it fixed, and after 60+ minutes on hold, a guy tells me he can’t help me, and I have to email a detailed note of the problem, with photos. So I did that, and never heard back. I continued to send my same email once a week, for several weeks, and finally got a reply after almost 2 months. They said they will redo the book, but have no estimate as to when it will be redone (it was originally ordered in early Nov. as a Xmas gift. The original book arrived after Xmas, and the new book still hasn’t arrived!). I want a refund! By the way, this was a living social deal, but I still paid s&h to Printerpix, which they don’t deserve. But the bigger question is, why does living social and groupon continue to sell their deals, when this company is clearly not concerned with delivering any customer service, or a solid product?

I’m not going to lie: I couldn’t wait to review this business. I’ve been holding back — as I’ve experienced nothing but negativity and hadn’t even received the product — and alas, now that I’ve received my blanket (40 DAYS LATER) — I can finally publish the negative review I’ve been pining to author!
Groupon folks: HEED THESE WARNINGS! Do not give in and purchase the offer!
–Groupon specifically says that if a deal is over a certain price, you don’t pay shipping. However, for whatever special reason, that does NOT apply to this deal. So you’re paying the cost of the Groupon, along with $ 15 in shipping. Crazy! You barely even get a deal after this.
–Do NOT order this if you need to have it in a specific amount of time! Their FAQ page, along with the email you get sent after you order, says 15 days. But if you contact customer service, they say 21. Regardless — I placed an order on 12/​20, and received it on ¹⁄₃₀.
–After contacting customer service multiple times (via email and phone), I found out that apparently (I don’t believe this), the size I ordered (small blanket) wasn’t in stock at the time I ordered it, and this was the reason for the delay. Now, dontcha think that they’d alert their customers? Ah yes, I was told they did, but I must have been missed. Again — I don’t believe any of this.
–While my photos weren’t horribly warped (I probably got lucky, because I used large photos instead of multiple small ones), they were enough to skew the formatting of the blanket. The left side (I’m assuming it’s printed from left to right) is even, with about an inch of white border from the start of the photo printing. However the right side varies — it’s skewed and curved, and there is anywhere from 2 inches to 4 inches of a white border.
This looks so cheap (due to the skew) that I’m embarrassed to give it as a gift. Quality is NOT worth the wait, and there is no deal to be had. Don’t order from here! And Groupon — listen to your damn customers and stop offering this deal!

I originally had purchased a groupon for a 11×20in scrapbook. After creating it on the wrong size, I wondered if I could return the groupon and repurchase it for the right side. It took 2 weeks to hear an answer after countless emails and calls (which by the way, were during your business hours).
I finally come to acceptance that I can’t return the Groupon so I decide to just deal with it. I then use the code when checking out and it doesn’t seem to work. I contact both Groupon and the company, and guess who replies right away? Groupon, of course, telling me to contact you for help. I then get an email to contact your company by phone, totally ignoring my questions/​concerns.
Today, I decided to take things into my own hands and try, one more time, to check out with the code that I received from Groupon. Miraculously, it works. Right before I «checkout,» the page doesn’t seem to work. I tried checking out MULTIPLE times, and still no luck.
Ironically, the emails I DO get from you are «ARE YOU FORGETTING SOMETHING? YOU FORGOT TO CHECK OUT.» Which only proves to show that customer service is not only disvalued but not taken into account when operating the firm.

Horrible company! I purchased an online deal to use for Christmas in November. I received an email saying I would receive the code to use upon checkout within 24 hours. 24 hours later nothing!
I emailed customer service and again nothing. I emailed again Dec 6 and again nothing. To this day almost end of January… still nothing.
I got ripped off! Never use this company!

The order (once it finally arrived) was as I imagined. It was good, quality was decent.
I also bought the Groupon before reading the reviews. Mistake. I placed my order for 2 photo bears on Dec. 1, 2015. When I had not heard anything, and online it said they were still in production, the week before Christmas, I chatted online with their customer service. They assured me I would have my order by Christmas. When I chatted again, 3 days before Christmas, I was still assure that I wold receive my order before Christmas. I received it finally on December 29^th. I emailed PrinterPix, and asking for a refund on my Groupon cost and shipping. I received an automatic response. After hearing nothing after a week, I responded again, and then got an email back saying my concerns were being forwarded to another department This was on Jan. 6^th) I have still not heard anything, so I emailed them again today. I would not recommend to anyone.

Simply horrible horrible company. Unable to track my order which was purchased on Dec 17, 2015. Have yet to receive confirmation email. Order is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Let’s see if that happens.
Im beyond annoyed with this company. Will never use again. Ill save time, money and better quality assurance at walmart!

Worst customer service !!! I purchased a 16×20 metal print from groupon that I wanted to send to my mother in law for Christmas. It arrived at out home on Dec 15 damaged. I quickly called and they asked me to email the photos I took of the damaged product after I emailed it this is what they email me:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Printerpix.
We have received your inquiry and are assigning it to a representative. To help track your inquiry we have generated a reference number. Your ticket code is. Please use this code in any further communication. We thank you for your patience while we deal with your matter.
I still haven’t gotten any other emails back. And every time I try to send an email this is the same response I get. Also you can never get a hold of anyone at the phone and if you actually wait the 1 hour hold time you keep getting «disconnected» I will never order from this company again. They are the worst!!!

Update 1÷16÷16
All four of the blankets arrived between 1÷21÷16 and 1÷25÷16. They turned out great! Pictures are clear and the fabric is soft. Price was affordable. My only complaint is that I ordered the blankets on 12÷16÷15 and no one could really give me an actual estimated shipping date. Overall, I’m very happy with the blankets, but wouldn’t use this company again if I needed them shipped in a timely manner.
Update: 1÷8÷2016:
I still have yet to receive anything I ordered. I called two days ago. The company told me the blankets haven’t been produced yet. I was misinformed when I called a week ago. The woman on the phone was very helpful. She said she’d put a rush order on the blankets and I should receive them in 1 – 2 weeks. Knocking down from three to two stars. Will update review if/​when I receive my product.
12÷30÷15:
I read all of the reviews AFTER purchasing my Groupon and ordering my photo blankets. Kind of nervous to get them in the mail. I ordered four photo blankets on 12÷16÷15. As of 12÷30÷15, The Printerpix website says they’re still preparing for production. I’ve been told it’s an error in the system.
I called today to find out what was going on. A representative answered the phone within about 5 – 10 mins. He tracked my packages for me and I should receive them today or tomorrow. Very friendly and helpful. So far so good. I’ll update my review once I get my actual order.

I don’t have much to add because Daina S. And Raschel S. basically had the very same experience as me, but one thing is sure. I would definitely recommend you to stay away from this company.

Okay so I figured out the problem with my mug… Didn’t know it had to be heated to show the picture. A very nice effect however the work was very poor quality. The picture is just plastered on the mug, a little slanted, doesn’t fill the whole mug so there’s a big blank spot, and it’s not at all Christmassy and has no snowy effect which is what I was under the impression it would have. When I spent the hour getting the pictures perfect, they perfectly fit the available space given on the website. Sorry but I’m still not impressed.

God, I should have read these reviews before purchasing a Groupon deal for this place. Trying to get in touch with customer service in order to track an order that should have been here over a week ago– and NO ONE responds to emails, I’ve been unable to get a representative on the phone after several, painful, holds, and the absolute worst is when I finally got someone on their «LiveChat», it took him 20 minutes to just give me the DHL delivery tracking WEBSITE with no actual TRACKING NUMBER for my order. He told me that the tracking link he provided should do the trick– um, friend: you can’t track a specific package without a tracking number.
I’m terrified to see what this hack company did to my photos (I ordered two calendars filled with our beautiful engagement pictures for our mothers for Chanukah). If the package ever gets here…

After placing my order and verifying that my invoice had all the correct information, I received an email stating that the order was being shipped to a different address… I Immediately contacted customer service via chat, all they told me was to call the 1 – 800 customer service line, which I did, and after being put on hold for 30mins I had to hang up.
I have also sent them an email explaining the situation, but no response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
For those of you who bought a groupon like me, if you still have time, cancel your order and don’t even bother.
UPDATE: Groupon took responsibility for Printerpix’s mistakes and lack of professionalism, and offered me a refund, so THANKS GROUPON!

I am very pleased with my purchase. I bought a Groupon for this service and finally used it. My book arrived much sooner that stated and the book was not damaged as others reported and it was just as I expected. I am happy. I will say it was a bit of work putting it together but this is my first time doing a book like this. It was a gift for my mother and she was pleasantly surprised.
I would order again. :-)

I feel like I should have known something was wrong when I placed the initial order because of all the extreme up-​selling attempts by this horrible company. I ordered three photos on slate for a retirement ceremony. I placed the order more than 21 business days prior to the event. At first, I was pleased to see that my slates were in production the very next day. About a week and a half later I checked the status again, and to my dismay they were still in production. I called, and when I finally got someone on the phone and explained that my order status had not changed in over a week I was told that my order was in the final stage of production and would ship soon. It is now three weeks later and according to their «Where’s my order» page, two slates are waiting for dispatch (for over a week now), and the third is still in production.
I work at a photo-​finishing production facility, and know for a fact that printing on any surface doesn’t take more than a few days tops. We do not print on slate, and that seemed like the perfect gift.
I did finally receive my slates, and two of them look nice (thankfully those are the ones I ordered for my colleagues). The one I ordered for myself has ghosting and is cloudy. I’m happy with the quality of two out of three slates, but it took way too long, and has been a very frustrating experience.
As far as some of the text getting chipped away I’m fine with that, even though they did not display a safety margin. I left one-​half inch of black around the entire image (obviously not enough).
Do yourself a favor and do not order from Printerpix no matter how good the deal seems.

No surprise here, I’m just adding to the sh*t storm surrounding Printerpix. Like so many other Unilocalers, Printerpix has failed to deliver the product I ordered on 7÷25÷15. Not only have they failed to actually get the product in my hands, they’re also incapable of responding to my inquiries. I’m extremely disappointed as what I ordered was a gift for a dear friend whose moving out of state.
I’ve complained to Groupon and they refunded my money. Then miraculously someone from Printerpix got in contact with me!.. To tell me I need to pay a returning fee on a product I never received. It’s actually comical.
Listen to the reviews for this place. You will pay for something and you will not get it, then nobody will help you.

I wish I could give this company a minus 5 stars.
I’ve ordered a magic mug that arrived defective. It is matte, very rough on the bottom and it has an odd marking (resembling scotch tape) on both sides near the handle. My photograph was studio quality and professionally taken, it had no such markings. Additionally, the photograph can be seen under a very thin, uneven and spotty black coating without any hot liquid.
Not magic at all.
I know how it was supposed to look like. I’ve ordered one in the past and it was perfect.
It had an even glossy and smooth finish, thus covering the photograph. No odd markings or spots were observed.
After waiting for 20 minutes to talk to someone, the associate totally distrusted my claim and offered no help citing a 7 day return policy. No exception was granted, despite my offer to send it back so it could’ve been redone.
I’ve posted photographs of both mugs for comparison.
Matte and rough finish= defective
Glossy and smooth= the good one.
Poor customer service, inconsistent quality control.
Avoid this business. So not worth it.

I purchased a GroupOn for this and placed an order for a print on metal on April 1^st. After a few months I called and was on the phone on hold for 25 minutes. Every time I’ve called I have not bee able to get through. I don’t think anyone ever answers. GroupOn was kind enough to try and contact them and tried to have them call me. But they sent me an email to say that there is going to be a delay on printing and shipping due to high volume. I finally received the print on metal on July 7^th. They sent it through regular mail USPS. The box was damaged and marked so by the post office (see BadPrintPhoto #1). When I opened it the print was bent (see BadPrintPhoto #2 and #3). I called them and as I stated earlier, they don’t answer their calls ever and was holding for another 20 minutes.
I highly recommend that you don’t waste your time and money with this company. They don’t do a good job the metal is bendable and poorly done. Also, they are not reachable via email or phone.
I’m really surprised with all the bad reviews and photos of their awful work, that this company is still in business. It’s almost as if it’s being run out of someone’s basement or something.
