I cannot recommend The Fix enough. I’ve been going here for half a year now and this is by far the best barber shop I have ever been to. Great haircuts, shaves and service! I always have great conversations with Chris and he could not be a nicer guy. Chis, Nick, Melissa and crew are all first class and treat me like family. I usually show up early just to hang out and relax. Such an awesome place!

Amazing. Fixed my hair after another place messed it up. Took what I asked for and made it better than I could have thought. Best customer service and good conversations. Chris is class and my new permanent hair guy.

I was looking for a new place around LO to get my hair cut. I found Fix online and decided to give it a shot. Nick was great. Very chill place. I definitely would recommend to anyone and will be returning in approximately 3 weeks.

I live in Berkeley, CA, and, like my search for the perfect pancake (!), I’ve been seeking the right barber. I’m a fan of the dude-​spa-​day (shave and haircut), but hadn’t found the right purveyor. (Others were too expensive, too snooty/​unwelcoming, too busy, too bare-​bones, etc.)
As I visit family in LO frequently, I extended my hunt for a barber up here, as well. SO HAPPY I did, since I found this great shop, and my barber, Chris! I think my first visit was in August of 2014, and I’ve been back 4, maybe 5, times since.
Service is always welcoming and friendly; shave and haircut skillful and relaxing; conversation pleasant, respectful, and fun. And, when compared with Bay Area prices, the Ambassador service (the aforementioned shave and haircut) is a steal!
(The complimentary libation is the coup de grace!)

Great place. Chris and his wife are nice people, and they have created a great environment with the Fix. I have been going here for quite some time, and don’t see that changing anytime soon.
I highly recommend if you are looking for a good haircut accompanied by some decent folks to have a nice conversation with.

Man this place… I always have a blast hanging out with Nick and Chris. We can talk about the craziest topics and always have a great time doing it. Every time I walk in, Nick always asks if I want an orange crème soda (my favorite drink).
The music and atmosphere is also always fun and energetic. It’s also a great place to relax while you wait if you have to ever wait. They also use a cool app called Vagaro that helps with scheduling and allows you to see the availability of the staff. All in all I’ve been too many different barbershops and this place is above and beyond. You have to try them out.
They are located behind the La Provence in lake Oswego, great location with plenty of parking and great food to eat after!

Such great customer service! As soon as you walk in you are warmly welcomed by Melissa, who is just the sweetest. They even offer a complimentary beverage from an amazing selection of craft beers and artisan sodas. I love the modern feel of this stylish barbershop, definitely the kind of atmosphere you want to spend a couple hours of pampering in.
The owner Chris is a hair genius. He always delivers exactly what I ask for. He does an awesome job on my blonde highlights and an excellent cut– this is coming from someone who is usually very picky about their hair. I also appreciate the top of the line products available. Chris always introduces me to just the right product for all my hair needs. You couldn’t ask for a better stylist– talented and lovely to talk to. I’m not sure of her name, but the female stylist, the one with the tattoos, also does great work!
Overall, the Fix goes above and beyond for what your paying for, and I can’t say enough how friendly everyone is. They really know how to make a girl feel special!

I usually hit the fix up about once a month, my son age 7, daughter age 5, and myself and always leave looking better than when we came in. My son always wants the styles of the ball players and they are happy to oblige. Good conversations, good haircuts and good people.

2 years later and I still look forward to coming here! I have had every staff member cut my hair and same amazing quality. I absolutely love the diversity of the staff, from the funky personalities and hair colors to the cool tats. At home here, thanks guys!

I just walked in there to ask them to support my nonprofit effort. I was «Blow-​My Hair Back» delighted at how cool the place is. Friendly, gorgeous couple rockin their dream and the décor is classy, yet homey. 5 stars and two thumbs up!

UPDATE FROM MY FIRST REVIEW BELOW:
They still give great haircuts, that I can’t deny, but their customer service and lack of respect for their customers is a bit shocking. One of the owners, Chris, made a disrespectful comment to my husband about what he does for a living and backed it up by making a reference to the bible. (My husband is a tattoo artist). My husband is a good and decent person. This is not something I take lightly and I won’t go back to The Fix based on the judgement we felt and the lack of tact and respect given to us not just as loyal, paying customers but as fellow human beings. And before you pass judgement on us and say what we do is «condemned by the bible», think about the many bible verses that also condemn cutting men’s hair, beards and women’s hair.
I tried The Fix after speaking with one of the owners wives about my son’s very thick hair. I was at work and she came through my line, (I worked at a grocery store), and we got on the subject of kids and I was explaining how I haven’t found a good place to get my son’s haircut. I tried Supercuts and Sport’s Clips and even another barbershop but none could cut thick hair like my sons correctly. She mentioned that her husband cut hair and gave me a card. I started taking my son about a year ago and each time we’ve seen Chris Casale and from the first cut to his last haircut he has consistently delivered great haircuts and stellar service. I even suggested it to my mother-​in-​law and she got a great haircut as well from a very nice woman named Nikki Denton. They not only know how to cut hair, but they are also very friendly. I have recommended them to many friends and family. Definitely a place to get haircuts for the whole family.

Tried this place for the first time today with my two kiddos (⁶⁄₈). We had Nick and he was fantastic. My son had a VERY BAD «Joe Dirt» style cut (thanks to his not so skilled Daddy) and Nick fixed it. My son did not want to cut his hair (He wanted to grow it out like Finn on Adventure time) and upon completion said out loud «I LIKE IT». That may not sound like much, but for my six year old that is a rave review. Nick took time to explain to him how he could «style» it and how he could grow it out properly.
My daughter then asked if she could get her hair cut and Nick obliged. He did a GREAT job on her too. My kids sit pretty still, but I have had a hard time finding someone who can get her hair line straight. I just don’t think people take as much care and time with kids as they do with adults, however this was not the case with Nick. He was precise and detailed. I will happily return and encourage others.
As for the «Salon» Itself, it has a cool hip vibe. Soothing colors and an array of beverages to choose form. It’s located on the back side of La Provenc, so plan to have lunch too.

Another great cut! From Chris this time. Same professional, fun, generous service as last time. Had a relaxing cup of tea and got a great haircut. Will be back!

This is «The Fix» our lead singer* Chris Casale’s barber shop in Lake Oswego. It’s the reason people say our band has the best hair! They give you the rockstar treatment when you visit. They greet you with beer, wine, or sodapop. The place looks like an exclusive club. (Minus the cigar smoke.) Then you get to relax on plush leather sofas while rock music/​videos pump through the speakers. All that and THEN comes the haircut. AWESOME! All the pleasantries but, NO attitude, just easy breezy conversation and great skill that comes with loads of practice. Chris, Kristin, Nick, and Nicole (tré cool) dial you in with the best of modern and traditional style cuts, complete with traditional razor shave, shampoo and hot towel pampering. OOOH YEAH!

This place is world class! Kristen is an awesome stylist and I had an amazing experience! I drive 40 minutes just to go there and it was well worth it! I’m from Los Angeles but guarantee I will be back in the future!!! Super nice staff and excellent facility!

I can’t go wrong getting all done up here! Y’all are fabulous! I have never been disappointed and love that feature of being able to book an appointment online. It makes getting in super easy.
