WFG National Title – Lake Oswego

I am a mortgage professional who has used the services of WFG, and in particular, Jenn Riba and her amazing team of Tracy Winborne and Betty Jeter. For most people who are providing a service; it’s fairly easy to be exceptional part of the time. It takes a lot of effort and skill to be exceptional ALL of the time.
Face it — there is nothing sexy about title insurance. The fees are strictly regulated by the state so really the only thing that makes a title company stand apart from the rest is service. I can honestly say I’ve never received anything but exemplary service from Team Riba. I’ve referred many of my clients to them for the past 4 years and have never received anything but good reviews of how easily they were accommodated.
Real Estate transactions are intense at times and the very end of every transaction relies on the escrow officer to hold it together and get it done on time. I have never felt hesitation from Jenn, Tracy nor Betty in immediately pitching in an doing whatever it takes to make it happen. The piece that really sets them above the rest is that they do it with a «no problem» attitude with good humor and ease.
If you need the services of a title insurance company — call the Riba Team; you won’t be disappointed.

I just closed my first transaction with WFG and was impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. They were prepared and made the transaction run smoothly. The front desk was both welcoming and friendly. Several other team members made us feel right at home. Thank you Jenn and Tracy for making this such a positive experience!

We did not have a positive experience in closing a home loan with WFG. The WFG staff were consistently not helpful and didn’t seem to have the business acumen of most title companies we have worked with in the past.
My recommendations:
1. Stop by their offices and meet with them in person before beginning your transaction.
Had we done this, we would have noticed the lack of art on the wall, empty desks without monitors and general sad office vibe of a place that might not be around.. . it just felt like they weren’t doing well. Perhaps, this is why their staff was so grumpy.
2. Ask how many transactions they have closed the previous month.
3. Take a look at their website. Very very sparse.
