I went into this location 2 times. I wasn’t looking to buy necessarily the first time, however the gal that assisted me was super helpful, looked up my benefits for me, just made everything simple. I went back a second time purchase the glasses (which was a few months later) and they didn’t have the glasses in stock that I was previously looking at. However, the guy who was working (I am terrible with names!) was Amazing! Helped me through my benefits, let me take a ridiculous amount of time picking out frames, and was was not sales pushy in any sort of way. I feel like it’s important to recognize when fantastic customer service happens, because it’s rare these days! Highly recommend Target for glasses!!! Super friendly!!!

I started going here less than a year ago. Dr Pool is amazing and the first eye doctor in over 20 years to address the astigmastism I have. In the time I have been going, my prescription has changed (unfortunately increased) 3X. Today I went in because I had some spots on my lense that wouldn’t wash off. I had a warranty on the glasses so figured it would be covered. Sam took great care of me as she always does. While she was looking everything up in the computer, I mentioned I was having trouble seeing again, and she sent me straight back to Dr Pool. He adjusted my prescription and so my new lenses that had to be replaced will have the stronger prescription so I can see. I always receive amazing service when I go here and I am so glad my friend recommended them to me. I had my doubts about going to Target for eye care, but Dr Pol, Sam and Gina are amazing and I receive great care and service from them. I have NEVER rated a company on Unilocal before, but felt I needed to rate them for the top notch service I receive there.

I recently decided to give Target Optical a try in Lake Stevens. After going to a private office in the past and paying a TON for glasses I was amazed that even though Target Optical was considered out of network for me, I saved so much money. I was able to get a pair of glasses with upgraded lenses and sunglasses for $ 300 out of my pocket. I paid more than that for just my glasses from my previous eye doctor. Their equipment was top notch and the Doctor was very knowledgable and personable. I felt like I was in very good hands. The staff there was very friendly and helpful and the selection of glasses was great and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them, especially if you have been going to private opthamologist offices in the past. You will be thrilled with the savings. We have already recommended them to our family and friends.

I love that I can schedule my eye appointments online. I wish more places offered this! I was extremely pleased with the timeliness and thoroughness of the eye exam.
The people working in the frames portion were polite and friendly. We selected our glasses and the process was painless (except for cost). A week later we had our frames. They do offer a 90 day guarantee. When my child put a thick scratch across the entire lens after two weeks, they replaced both lenses for free because it was within the 90 days.
I have heard accounts where people were given a really hard time about getting their pupillary distance measured if they were not going to buy glasses there. I cannot say if that is true, however I’ve heard it more than once so it does bear some weight. On one hand, I get why they don’t want to encourage people to buy elsewhere, but I cannot see how it makes sense to buy eyeglasses from a brick and mortar retailer when the cost difference is so extreme compared to online. My glasses cost $ 300 at Target. I was able to obtain almost identical frames and lenses for less than $ 40 online and a backup pair in very plain lightweight lenses for $ 11 and you can return them for refund if they don’t work out. Target and other retailers need to give us a better reason to buy glasses from them other than the tired «better quality and service» line which is no longer true.
Target Optical will do minor repairs and adjustments on your frames even if you have not purchased them there. We used that service far before we utilized the doctor or frames purchase there.

This place is run by Samantha who knows NOTHING about optics. Tiffany is another incompetent ignoramus that knows NOTHING about optics. They would take your money, say that «your order is on the way» and not even order it, cos they don’t know how. They would «fix» orders, orders would come, not fixed the right way, and they would «fix» them again. DO NOT go there, they will never get your glasses right.
