What’s not to love about a yogurt shop? They have huge portions and don’t skimp on the toppings. They have a good selection of flavors and toppings. I’m partial to the chocolate with peanut butter cups, but also enjoyed the tart strawberry and pistachio. They also serve you here as opposed to serve yourself, but that’s actually a plus here.

Yogurt is a 5 star. No doubt about it, the yogurt is bomb. Sadly if your Hispanic, the new server, the Caucasian girl with blue eyes, is extremely racist… Kylie. She’s rude, she’s bitchy and just has a bad attitude. She’s always on her phone too. We walked in and she was rude, as soon as we finished ordering she attended the next Caucasian guests positively with smiles. I been in Customer Services for 6 years, I know what good customer service is and she doesn’t have that.

High quality frozen yogurt with good toppings and flavor selection. I love the generous portion sizes(note: a «small» is gigantic) as well as how they layer the toppings throughout the yogurt. It’s interesting that their model has not gone to self-serve but kind of nice in that sense, too. They offer non-fat, low-fat, and dairy-free flavor options.

Love this place, love their yogurt, love the atmosphere. Came in at 6 one evening and the two girls who worked here were gossiping about their job and on their cell phones, also literally making themselves a big bowl of frozen yogurt. Weirdly unprofessional. I recommend coming here in the early afternoon when the nicer staff are here.

I love Yogurt Barn! I work in Lakeside. My family has been going there every week. We usually have fantastic service. Last night I went to get my family yogurt after work. I was met by a young girl(name unknown). I was so disappointed in my service. She didn’t smile, have eye contact or listen to me talking to her. I felt like a was a bother. She said nothing to me until I was ready to pay my bill. «Have a nice evening«is all that came out of her mouth after the transaction was finished. Before I could get to the door she turned to the exit to turn the CLOSED sign on. Needless to say… I hope she has a better day ! Feeling disappointed ! I worked all day in the restaurant industry. Customers are important! Make them Feel that way!

Love coming here as a weekend treat. They are constantly changing their favors which keeps things fun and interesting. I really love their tart flavors(pineapple tart is my favorite) but lately I have been into their fair free flavors. The staff are nice and the environment is comfortable. Thanks guys!

Nice yogurt shop and the small size is plenty for 2. Not much room outside for sitting(no inside seats) so best to go when it is slow unless you want to eat your yogurt in the car.

nice yogurt place and the flavors of the day are almost always posted to the shop’s facebook page. I like that convenience. tiny bit pricier but, nice to have a local option.

Amazing(creamy) yogurt with a huge variety of toppings! My all time favorite is the graham cracker yogurt(wish they had it more often.) I go here on a weekly basis and it never disappoints!

I absolutely LOVE frozen yogurt, & this place does not disappoint! They change out their flavors every couple days & give a good variety. The only«problem» I have with that is I always find one I love, & then it’s gone for a couple weeks :[ They have a lot of toppings to choose from & give a decent amount. The staff is friendly, helpful & the prices aren’t too bad. If you bring in a competitors buy 1 get 1 free coupon, you get $ 1.50 off of your 2nd yogurt :]

I agree with another reviewer, this beats Yogurt Mill any day. For me, I’d rather buy a yogurt of reasonable portion that I can finish in one sitting(I always usually get the mini size) rather than getting some ginormous«child size» from YM. Maybe it’s just that I don’t like eating leftover yogurt. Either way, Yogurt Barn is awesome. Other pluses: –You can pay here with a card. Go figure, 2014 and you can pay with a card. YM is still cash only, which is pretty annoying. –You can use YM’s coupons here as well. –Generous with toppings! –Raspberry Pomegranate. Best flavor ever!

I like the flavors and toppings you go nuts trying to make up your mind. I like the low fat and even the sugar free flavors too.

What can you say about Frozen Yogurt? It’s great anytime of year here in CA. What I like best about The Yogurt Barn is that they change their flavors pretty often. If you like their page on Facebook, you can get the flavor updates daily. Irish Mint is by far my favorite, but all the flavors are great. They have tons of toppings to choose from as well. Make sure and check them out!

Decent yogurt and selection of toppings. Frequent buyer card(that you can link to a phone number so you don’t have to carry it around with 30 other cards in your wallet), frequently changing flavors, and these great $ 2.50 mini cups that include one topping. They seem to support the local FFA/4H programs(this is Lakeside, after all), and the service is usually friendly. Yet… Went there tonight at 8:45(they don’t close until 9:30) and walked in to find all the chairs stacked on the tables, trash sitting in a bag by the door and a somewhat rude/bored girl cleaning up who wasn’t the least bit welcoming. After making sure they weren’t actually closed, we got our yogurt, including a melty cup she poured that wasn’t even up past the brim of the cup, and asked if it was ok to sit at the table, then pulled the chairs down ourselves to sit down, to watch a few other customers walk in with the«are you about to close?» look on their faces. So maybe if these kids want to go home at 9:30, they should close at 9:00 instead and have time to clean up, instead of the resulting rudeness/awkwardness of making customers feel like they’re inconveniencing you for patronizing your shop. I’d though myself of starting a yogurt shop, but then told myself it would be a disaster, because I couldn’t work there every single day, and would have to hire 17-year-old girls who don’t care about anything to work there in my absence, and this sort of reinforces that conclusion of mine. So, uh… that’s the end of my «youth these days» rant. In conclusion, go there when the nicer grown ups are working, and earlier in the day, and you’ll probably have a better experience.

This place is SOOOOO good! I live in downtown San Diego and always frequent Yogurtland. However, I was in east county and decide to try this place based on a suggestion. I FELLINLOVE with the chocolate and peanut butter combination! The prices are amazing! I get ripped off at the Yogurtland in Little Italy. I can’t believe how delicious the yogurt was and I thought it was better that the young guy there made it. After all, he is the expert not me! I was reluctant about a place when I do not put the toppings on myself. However, this guy that worked there made it amazingly. He put some of the 3 toppings for $ 1 on the bottom, then yogurt, then more toppings, then more yogurt, and back and forth. He would use two spoons to smush the toppings into the yogurt on the sides, it was AMAZING! 5 Stars for — delicious chocolate and peanut butter side by side combo — skills of guy that works there is putting toppings on yogurt, and he was spelndid with the toppings — the price –customer service — and accept credit card! :) LOVETHISPLACE!!!
