Awful property management company!!! Makes appointments then does not show up. Enters unit without notice or permission. Completely unprofessional staff. The only positive is automatic payments online so I didn’t have to deal with them every month!

I am a landlady and have used the services of Jericho Property Management for more than 2 years now. They have been more than helpful and made several beneficial recommendations to me. The professionalism of Robert, Andrea and the rest of the staff is outstanding and very reliable. They have proven to me and my neighbors that they are concerned about the community, they screen the applicants carefully with high standards and take actions promptly when needed.
I sleep well at night knowing that my investments are in very good hands and I highly recommend Jericho Properties to do business with whether as a landlord/​lady or a renter.

I have had a good experience with Jericho. I am signing my second lease with them. I have had little problems with my unit. If I did encounter a problem I conted them via email or phone and they were quick to fix the problem. Everybody in my unit has been living there longer than myself which says something about the company. I look forward to another year with them.

I decided to move from California to Colorado and started looking for a short-​term rental in the Denver area where my dog and I could stay until I had a chance to find a realtor and buy a house. Jericho had what looked to be the perfect house but after reading Jericho’s reviews on Unilocal and Google, I decided I wasn’t going to rent from them and was more than willing to give up the application fee I’d paid if I could find another rental. Long story short, I wasn’t able to find someplace else, needed a place for me and my dog, and signed the lease. I fully expected it would be a nightmare and they would screw my out of some portion of my deposit. It wasn’t and they didn’t.
I cleaned the place thoroughly when I left, there wasn’t any damage (I only lived there for 6 months), and I sent them a copy of the receipt from the company I paid to clean the carpets (yes, the leasing agreement requires you have the carpets professionally cleaned when you move out). I also sent them a detailed list of everything I cleaned. Although it took 6 weeks, they returned my entire deposit. There were two occasions when repairs were needed and both times the issues were addressed promptly.
As others have mentioned, I definitely didn’t feel they were happy to hear from me when I called but no one was overtly rude. When you move in, they send you a form used to list anything wrong with the rental. It’s called a Property Condition Report. I filled it out in detail and photographed everything that was wrong with the property. This may have helped in their determination to return my full deposit.
When I signed the lease, I expected I’d be giving them a bad Unilocal review when I moved out but I can’t. They weren’t terribly friendly but my experience was fine.

As a landlord, I did not have a good experience w/​Jericho Properties. I found a lot of their staff to be put off and didn’t follow through on what I asked. There were some weird charges as well. One time, I was charged $ 25 as a landlord to replace the light bulb under the microwave. Pretty crazy if you ask me. I was also charged about $ 250 because between the first renters and the second set of renters, the ceiling light in the guest bedroom miraculously became «unwired». Pretty odd as well. Felt like the costs of their oversights were simply passed on to me.
The most disappointing thing was when my wife and I decided to move back into our house from out of state. When we informed that we were moving back and didn’t need their services anymore, they treated us like we fired them. The owner even stated that he felt we fired him when in fact all we were doing was moving back to our house. Their service level and attitudes were really bad at this point. One of the staff, Andrea, I found to be very rude and condescending.
Overall, they made me feel more like a burden than a client. Not sure if all property companies are like this, but I was really disappointed in how we were treated in the end. Really a poor way to end the relationship.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. My wife and I rented from this company for 3 years. Took great care of the property and always paid our rent on time. If not early. We saved our money and bought a home of our own. At the end of our lease I actually spent around $ 200.00 on a few things for the house (ie cleaning supplies, light bulbs, co detector etc) to return the property in a better state than we received it.60 days after moving out we received our security deposit back and it was short for bogus charges. I contacted Robert Aldridge (the owner) he said they will return the balance asap because he knows they just stole from us and don’t have a leg to stand on. We are still yet to receive the balance and he will not reply to my emails. On another note this very little man named rocko (classy)showed up to the property before lease end and told me he was the «enforcer» I laughed when I took a look at this little fella. This is a very unprofessional organization. Run like heck and find someone more reputable to rent from. My wife and I are hard working people with two small children and these dirtbags robbed us. its not over by far! I’m the wrong person to steal from and WILL get what’s owed to me one way or another! They didn’t get all these bad reviews by coincidence. STAY AWAY from Robert, Cindy, Cheryl and lol «rocko»

Please do not rent from this company, Horrible experience and they will not provide evidence that shows what «cleaning» was done when we moved out. On top of that the owner was using the property while we were still paying rent!!! Shady and unprofessional company. Stay away, far away

Now that they have gotten all of my information and rejected my application for no reason, I’m getting tons of junk mail about buying/​renting homes that I’ve never received before. Thanks for leaking my info to third parties Jericho. Good luck with your glowing reviews.

I as well, have nothing good to say about this management company, and ditto other reviewers sentiments;-(I always felt like I was getting the short end of the stick, then, when I stopped using them evidence proved it. As the home owner in this situation, i.e. they did repairs, but if it was OVER the agree amount (i.e. if a repair was going to cost more than $ 350, they call first) they would split the charges into two billing cycles;-(They talk about their own repairmen as an advantage, but the charges seemed 15−20% higher than if I’d called someone myself!
However, the biggest nightmare was when they didn’t blow out my sprinkler system, the sprikler head froze, and the water flooded my basement. My renter said that they contacted her in Sept. to set an appt. to do so, she inquired in Oct., when they were coming, they did not do the work, and it cracked on the first hard freeze.
Plus they had repaired the same sprinkler head in July for $ 260!
I’m just glad to be back managing my own property. Lesson learned, look at first hand reviews first. Don’t choose an «old-​school» business.

Like others, I cannot say enough bad things about this place.
We rented a house from Jericho because they offered a decent property. They were not terribly pleasant during the lease negotiations, but we were somewhat desperate since we needed a house fast.
Unfortunately, things did not improve. When a major appliance broke, they took over a week to fix it. The staff is rude and regularly fails to return phone calls or respond to emails. Cindy, cited by others, is the most egregious offender. The lease agreements are overly long and overbearing, just as others have stated.
If you own a house and need a property management company, you want stable, long-​term tenants. Like others, I would not even consider renewing a lease with Jericho because of their property mismanagement. Renters and property owners alike should steer clear of this place.

Its been 3 months, no deposit back. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit. Stay away

I moved into a really great priced apartment. That is the only nice thing I have to say about my experience renting from Jericho. Upon my move out, (after only one year because it was a crap hole) I cleaned the apartment from top to bottom and they charged me for 6 hours of cleaning. When I inquired about what was dirty, the office lady who did my move-​out check list said the top of the fridge and the stove were dirty. I spoke with Bob and asked him how 2 dirty appliances require 6 hours of cleaning. He spoke in circles just as his office staff did. I was ripped off and denied my entire deposit. Another crappy thing about this place is that their lease states you have to have the carpets professionally cleaned when you leave or they will charge you their price to have them cleaned. I’ve never heard of this policy in a lease… because it’s LAME! Jericho did not give me my full deposit back. I’ve never not gotten my whole deposit back. If you rent from Jericho, just know you aren’t going to get your deposit back, no matter how well you clean.
I hope you won’t rent from this company so they don’t have the opportunity to rip you off too.

Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this god awful place!!! I don’t even know where to begin. These people are not human, they are monsters. Ugly, mean, disrespectful monsters. I called multiple times for a garbage disposal breakage within the first few months of moving in. It made my entire apartment my entire apartment smell disgusting. I then went in and physically asked Cindy why no one had come and she said they had tried calling the wrong number. I gave her the right number and still nothing! I had a family emergency and had to end my lease at six months. They were so incredibly rude to me when I expressed to them I needed to end the lease short of term. Long story short, after I moved out they send a claim into a debt collector for all of these stupid charges! I left them with my deposit and yet I was still charged. When I called them to talk to them about it they were very snotty and told me they couldn’t talk to me about it. Every woman working for this company needs a serious attitude adjustment. I could go on more and more about how disgraceful these people are, but just find a place that will treat you like a person and not an it.

DO NOT use this property rental service. They lied to us and told us that we had first dibs on a place that we wanted to rent. We asked if we could fill out an application ahead of our showing to get the ball rolling. We were told that they would not do anything with our application until we had been shown the place and we were reassured that we were the first people to be shown the property. I called and confirmed my appointment the day of the showing and they told us to meet them at the property. About an hour before our showing we got a call from Jericho telling us they had shown the place to somebody else and the property was no longer available to us. We wasted a whole day because we trusted that this business was not lying to us. BEWARE! They are liars and will pull the rug from under you and screw you in a heartbeat. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service. I would consider this business a SCAM, and would not recommend anyone use them.
I gave them one star because I had to in order to post a review. I would not give them any stars if that was an option.

They don’t even deserve one star. Ive never been «railroaded» by a professional business in my entire life. They completely screwed us over and had no explanation. I wouldn’t send anyone near this place, and the word needs to get out that this place is one of the worst businesses Ive ever seen. They will be out of business soon with customer service like that. I guess that’s why they only have 6 listings. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT

After informing that they would absolutely not do a showing unless I called to confirm at least an hour ahead of time, when I did call, there was no one to answer the phone. I called 8 times over an hour and a half, and sent an e-​mail. Finally, 15 minutes after my scheduled showing, an agent called wondering where I was. When they were also pushy and condescending in future correspondence, I decided there were other companies who would happily have my business.

I was referred to Jericho, specifically Bob Aldridge, by a friend of mine as I’m looking to find a rental property as I relocate from Seattle to Denver. When I called, the receptionist/​rental coordinator asked me why I was calling. She wouldn’t transfer me to Bob, but rather said she would help me. I explained that I’m relocating and that there were several houses I’m interested in. I went on to say that I have an elderly German Shepherd who has been professionally trained and that we both have excellent references. She stopped me and said that German Shepherds are on their «prohibited breed» list. Gee, maybe you should have that list on your web site so that you don’t waste anyone’s time. And gee, maybe when I get a personal referral to someone, you should transfer me to them instead of being a roadblock.
