I had to drive here twice because they sold me a bad fuse. It’s about an hour driving round trip and it’s not located in the nicest area. The second time I showed up, I brought my multimeter and found out all of the fuses I needed are bad /​blown. The guy working argued with me and said that the fuses had to be tested while connected to the dryer. Ha! Have you ever done any kind of repair? The first thing you do is isolate the fuse not have it connected. Anyway, they sell faulty parts so avoid…

I went to get a shelf rack for my refrigerator. They did notify that the part number had changed and I had to cut it myself to make it fit. If I known up front about the part, I would never bought it. I was told by a lady who was very rude when I initially returned the part to go on YouTube «and look how its done. You have to have to put a little work in yourself» Realizing that there were no clips online on how to cut the rack to fit I returned it and the same lady would not take it back stating that there is a small bend, I said no problem I would toss it. I will not shop at this place again. This lady made it seem like I bothering her with my purchase. She needs to learn about customer service.

We will never step foot in that place again. This woman, Pat was so rude and nasty to me. She acted like I was bothering her. People like that shouldn’t work at a job dealing with people. I was very nice to her and she was so condescending, I couldn’t believe it. Sears, why would you have someone like that working for you? I wonder how she sleeps at night, knowing how she treats people. I think she hates white people. SHAME ON YOU PAT! I hope God forgives you and brings peace to your heart. But I think you need an exorcism.

Took my microwave oven in to be repaired. They sent it be fixed in Tennessee. On the return trip the delivery person dropped it and broke it. Have been fighting them for over a month and still don’t have the issue resolved. We are told over and over that they will call us in 24 hours. Never get a call! After 70 years with Sears, we won’t be buying anything from them again.

Let’s see… appointment for between 1 and 5 and the guy shows up at 6:15. I was told on the phone that it would be a $ 99 service fee whether they did any work or not. Snarky man shows up, no apologies for being late and can’t figure out why I am already a bit miffed. He pulls the fridge out from the wall and tells me I have a leak… Gee thanks dude I had no idea… oh yeah that’s why I called you in the first place! Proceeds to want me to agree to pay $ 230 for labor before I even get to know how much the part (s) are… he never took the back off to give me a true idea of how much everything was going to be. When I ask for a true estimate he grouches around telling me he doesn’t know. I ask how I can make an educated decision without all the information. He tells me I’m being disrespectful, slams his computer closed and tells my daughter he can’t deal with me. I threw him out of the house.
Fast forward to discussion with supervisor on the phone… He wants me to pay $ 99 because in throwing the guy our of the house it becomes a cancellation fee. Mr Supervisor Man keeps talking over me, tells me what a long day the technician had had (like that matters) and accuses me of throwing the guy out because I didn’t like the estimate.
Believe me… never again… Sears does not know the meaning of the words: Customer Service!

Really nice and friendly staff. The place is a bit old and hard to find, but their customer service was excellent. I also got a sweet deal on a battery powered electric drill.

Don’t ever buy an appliance again from Sears because you’ll never get it repaired I have an appointment today from 8 to 12 it’s 2 PM I’m not getting a call there’s no technician everybody says they’re calling him .I’m supposed to get a call two hours ago absolutely nothing. I will never ever buy anything again from Sears
Instead of missing a half day at work I have now missed a complete day of work. Are they going to compensate me? Doubt it

Sears Parts and Repair in Lakewood…
It was a bit of a chore driving around the medians and parking lots to get to the place because it’s tucked back behind the other buildings. The signs help, at least in the day time. Not sure how visible they are when it darkens.
They didn’t have what I needed in stock when I first visited on 1÷12÷15… I’m so frustrated by this fact. It’s a reasonably sized place with quite a variety of parts available for purchase, but the Whirpool wall oven that we bought requires special order bulbs, «Made in Italy.» I cannot put this on the Lakewood store, though.
That same day one of the male sales associates stated that it was about $ 24 PER BULB if he wanted me to order it with them. It would be like a 3 – 5 day wait and I’d have to pick them up there. I was really hoping for it to be in stock so I could just replace the bulbs that evening. I declined the order set up and asked if I could by chance order it at the Sears store in Downey. The same associate took the time to write down the model number I needed for the bulbs and made a referral for a totally different parts store nearby. I called that store, and of course they didn’t have it in stock and they wanted to charge me like $ 27 per bulb. I needed two of them. Don’t think so.
The bit about ordering the items and having them shipped directly to the Sears Downey store later turned out to be incorrect because when I went to Sears in Downey they told me they weren’t sure why anyone would tell me this and referred me back to Lakewood and another Sears parts store in the area. Ugh!
So it was back to square one with this whirlwind of a deal… I called the Sears Lakewood store and received help from a female associate this time. She was exceptionally nice, but told me the same info as the male associate above. Then she said I would save about half the price if I ordered them either online or by calling Sears Parts Direct. Even gave me their toll free number. I ended up paying $ 26.58 for 2 bulbs and had it shipped directly to my house by ordering with that toll free number.
Golly geeze, I thought it would be just as simple to hit the «parts» store. I bought the oven from Sears in Downey only to find out that none of the area Sears carry the replacement bulbs. Not even Home Depot or Lowes carries this stupid bulb — and they sell the same damn wall oven!
Because of the lack of convenience, it would be a solid 2 stars. But because of the help from the second Sears associate I spoke to on the phone, AND because she directed me to the same company and saved me quite a bit… 3 stars it is.

Rude rude rude!!! I can’t say it enough. Worst experience ever. They see you walk in and they walk away, as if they owe you money. What the heck! Waited in line for everrrrr while the lady was on the phone chatting about everything except parts. Don’t waste your time here, there’s plenty of places that want your business.

Really need more staff.
Or a self-​serve checkout kiosk for those of us not needing a part look-​up.
Rather hard to find the first time.

I have been able to get all my repair parts at this location for years, I wish they had better hours but I guess this helps keeps prices down!

I only recently discovered this Sears parts and repair store, when I needed a replacement part for a Genie garage door opener. Based on just my one experience, I rate this place 4 stars. I’ll keep this place in mind and use them again next time I need replacement parts.
The good: First off, they actually carried the spare part I needed. Otherwise, I would have had to order off the web, not knowing if I’d get the right part, then wait a week for the part to arrive, all the while with a non-​functional garage door opener. But instead I was able to reserve the part over the phone, pick it up same day, and make the repairs.
It appears this store carries/​sells spare parts for all sorts of appliances which are sold through Sears.
While I was there, I witnessed the two employees going to great lengths to look up and find the correct parts for customers ahead of me in line. Very impressed, and should I ever need that level of help I know I would appreciate it. The employees obviously knew their stuff.
The bad: Really there isn’t any bad in my experience, except the store is a little hard to find. You have to turn into what looks to be an alleyway behind a strip mall, and the Sears parts store is in the back.

Went to get a replacement drain pump and they had it in stock. After a 45 min. Of fighting a clamp the water was leaking sooo I took it out and noticed it was cracked. I took it back and they gave a new one. Installed the one and it’s working fine. A happy ending for me.

For as long as I can remember, my family has had at least one appliance or other product from Sears. As it stands now, at my home my stove and refrigerator were purchased from Sears (Frigidaire brand) and the big upright vacuum cleaner (Hoover) was also purchased from Sears. Whenever I need bags for the vacuum or water filters for the refrigerator, I feel very fortunate that I can stop at this small shop and purchase what I need. Every time I’ve come here, they’ve had the items in stock.
This store is tucked away behind the Pavilions store on Woodruff Avenue, so anyone trying to find it the first time may miss it.
The inside of the store itself is rather sterile, with shelves carrying various items, big and small. Depending on the time of day, it can get rather busy here and there are only two clerks in the store to help customers coming in. The line to pay for purchases can be rather lengthy, too, so I’ll give everyone a heads-​up and ask that you bring a boatload of patience with you!
The store could be better run. There was a time when I was here to pick up a water filter for my refrigerator and waited around for someone to help me pay for the purchase, because NO ONE was on the sales floor. The phones here could get busy also, and the two store clerks helping the line of customers paying for their purchases are the only ones answering the phones. Sometimes, they just answer the phone then ask the caller to hold… and they keep the caller on hold without getting back to him or her!
The hours here are rather limited: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Even though the service here needs improvement, at least I can find what I need each and every time.
