Came here for a date night with the spouse. Arrived happy; left hungry. We felt punished for having a Groupon. It appeared that we were served scaled down portions, with limited selections offered, because we had a Groupon. We left still very hungry. The craziest part was that when we totaled up the check — which was printed on a receipt emblazoned with the name of the former restaurant occupying this site — we realized we would have paid less had we not used Groupon. As to the food, it was okay… just okay. My veal was bland, tasteless, and an unusually small portion. The service seemed confused at best. Though we had a reservation, I felt as if we had surprised them just by showing up. I’m sorry, I truly wanted to like this place.

Classy, upscale somewhat pricey restaurant. Great place to take your someone special to treat them to an excellent meal with prompt professional service. We had both a veal dish & lobster. Both were wonderfully prepared. Enjoy !

The owner was rude and obnoxious when we tried to us a valid groupon. His phone was out of order when we tried to make reservations. I went at 2PM to make sure the were opened. Told a waiter phone was out of order. Made reservations on open table and when we got there and handed him thegroupon he said he wouldn’t accept it because we used open table. We explained the situation with the phone and he was nasty and rude. We walked out and I feel people should know about this.

My Wife and I along with 3 friends went to the Manor Inn and I was pleasantly surprised. It has an old world elegance with a lot of class but it is not pretentious or over the top by any means. The service was just right and the owner seems to get it as he has a good feel for each tables desires. We like to share food and love to pass the plates so I was not sure at first that they would handle this well. They adapted to us with ease We enjoyed every bit of food from Appetizer to Desert and left very happy to have found this little gem. It would be great for a romantic evening or a fun evening with friends as they understand the clients needs. I will return again without a doubt.

Very good food, good selection, nice, elegant atmosphere, quiet(one can actually talk in a normal tone), enough room between tables, friendly service, reasonable prices. A restaurant for adults. Went there once and promptly returned. Will be there again soon.

We bought a groupon for the Manor Inn the food was absolutely delicious. We were impressed. We shared the appetizer then had salad a a soup. The entrees we had were a perfectly cooked veal chop and filet of sole in lemon sauce. The owner was very cordial and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant

My husband and I dined at the Manor Inn Restaurant this week and we were very impressed with the professionalism of the wait staff and the excellence of the food. The owner, was extremely charming and welcoming. The décor was lovely with a fireplace and seasonal decorations. The best part was the delicious food. I had black sea bass cooked to perfection and my husband had a veal chop which was thick and juicy. The oyster appetizer was wonderful too as was the pistachio gelato I had for dessert. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating here again.

Manor Inn is an excellent representation of a country club type atmosphere. The beautiful mirrors and murals on the wall certainly adds a nice touch. The music creates a classy vibe in combination with the formal presence of the staff. It’s also nice to have some family from the owner working in the restaurant. The family adds a nice, welcoming feel to the restaurant. You feel as if you’re at home. The four different types of bread; along with an eggplant rollatini on the house sparked my taste buds with joy. I liked the provolone bread the best. The fresh ricotta in the eggplant rollatini created excellent flavor. The veal martini was out of this world. The white wine sauce was light buttery taste along with lemon flavor. The veal was fresh and tender. The service was great, everybody was nice and polite. The beautiful old Italian woman hostess is an absolute character. She was a pleasure to speak with and to be around. The owner made sure everything was proper and gave us a nice background of his restaurant history. The restaurant has a tremendous amount of space. With 2 floors of seating and 2 bars, it’s spacious enough for parties. I can see this business hosting many parties in the future. The food is excellent and I don’t have a problem with paying a little more than usual for food. This experience is not just about the meal. A lot of key elements are involved when you’re sitting down for a nice meal. The atmosphere needs to be positive and cozy, the lighting needs to be just right, the service needs to be up to at least average. The music needs to be at a decent volume, The proper setting needs to be arranged. Most importantly If I’m paying for a costly meal the food needs to be more than good. It needs to be great. This food at Manor Inn was great. Putting all those elements together after my dinner at Manor Inn gave me high hopes for this restaurant. They executed every element beautifully. I wish them the best of luck along the way.

Great food welcoming service and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ve been to all the prior restaurants at this location and the current owner’s restaurant in Port Chester. This is a welcome return. A little old school but in a positive way. What’s wrong with great clams and rack of lamb in a place where you can actually hear what your dinner companion is saying?

The food was excellent. I had King Crab appetizer and a Mahi Mahi special with rice and vegetables. I am looking forward to going back!
