If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I went in last week and the owner was extremely rude(a nasty old man) and we walked out. We will never step foot in this shop again.

Nice old fashioned ice cream shop, with friendly teens scooping and a candy corner with real old candy in nice small packages. LIke the feel of the place and the assortment of flavors. sugar free selections also. They offer tastes as well. Thumbs up.

I am giving 5 stars because they give my dog a scoop of vanilla ice cream and milk bones when I get something for myself! Enough to keep me coming back :)

I like ice cream, I really do. I haven’t been to Ice Cream Parlour in a while so after dinner my friends and I decided to go for a sweet treat. This place used to be called Longfords but went under new ownership/management and has become simply The Ice Cream Parlour. I’ll be honest I’m not a fan of the name, but they serve good ice cream so I can overlook it. The shop is simple but effective; mainly decorated in reds, whites, and blues with a few tables and of course the ice cream counter. Additionally, there’s a candy section which has a number of sweets to choose from. I went with a medium size s’mores ice cream. Mmmmm — lots of chocolate chunks with marshmallow swirl. The most impressive thing though was the way they cinched the graham cracker flavor — a real treat. Staff was friendly and eager to help — nice little shop that left me(internally) screaming for ice cream.

This place has delicious ice cream, such a cute store and perfect location – also they have 10 cent candy which is nice! The one thing I would say is it is a little more on the expensive side for ice cream, but for Larchmont that is to be expected!

This place has been reincarnated they now serve Hersheys Ice Cream. They also sell packages of penny candy. Located on Palmer Street. in the heart of Larchmont it used to sell Longfords. Unlike other reviews on Unilocal I am happy to report There was no horrid man(owner?) behind the counter just charming teens who were doing their best! People who have nut allergies will appreciate the nut free case for ice cream.

This Ice Cream Store is one of the best in Westchester. The owner is a kind man who cares about his customers. The Ice Cream is mostly all natural with minimal processing. The customers are top priority. According to the owner, The reasons why people are writing negative things about his business is that there is no customer access to the restroom and they open late during the winter. The owner is trying his best to please his customers and that’s what I like about this ice cream store. And when summer comes, he plans to open earlier.

I absolutely love the ice cream here! The owner is lovely, and told me all about how each of the ice creams are homemade and what ingredients were in them. Would absolutely come back! It’s rare to find many of the flavors offered here.

Nice to find an authentic ice cream store that has quality ice cream and ice cream novelties. Amazing banana split. Beware — nostalgic candy nook lurks and temps little kids! Friendly service.

Just stopped in for some scoops with my family. Place was empty, granted it is December. The clerk was pleasant and gave us plenty of samples. All the flavors were good.

Food: The ice cream here is very good, but slightly pricy. The flavors revolve around depending upon the season and chance. There are some great malts and shakes to get as well. Can’t think of a better local place to get different ice cream flavors if you don’t want carvel’s brand or really good gelato rather than ice cream. Staff: The owners/managers are horrible. I’ve been in numerous times and never feel welcomed. Most question, concern or special request will be at best met with a pretentious dismissive and annoyed attitude. The young teenage indentured servants they hired are usually really nice and helpful, it’s too bad I’ve seen the management mistreat them multiple times.

Always come here after our doc appointment. Ppl are really nice. The scoop portions are kinda small though. If it weren’t for that if give four stars. My son loves this place.

Owner was super nice. Went with my dog and he gave her a biscuit and cup of vanilla ice cream. Ice cream was great too. Nice small town feel to the place

The new owner of this store is the worst! So rude to both adults and kids all the time. The ice cream is definitely not worth dealing with him. It’s as if he hates kids. Many long time customers in town just boycott it now due to him. He is in the wrong business!

I agree with the others who gave a poor review — and i am not surprised — i came in with my three year old and he can’t use the wooden ‘spoon’ they give with the ice cream. I asked for a spoon — at an ice cream parlor! — and was told they only came with sundaes. I explained it was for a 3 year old who had trouble navigating the wood stick and OFFEREDTOBUY A SPOON and they said the owner would«fine them» if they gave me a spoon. The ice cream is good but the politics, and ultimately The Ice Cream Parlour, suck

New manager(or owner?) is either prickly or just an asshole, but the young server is a pleasure and the kids loved the ice cream!
