MITS at Custom Mobility displays new and pre-​owned wheelchair accessible vans in our Largo, FL showroom located on Bryan Dairy Road and ready to ship to wherever you are. Personalized adaptations such as hand controls, steering devices, and grab handles are installed on-​site by trained certified technicians. Our clients have the added convenience of obtaining service for both their accessible vans and wheelchairs at our Largo facility.

History

Established in 2009.

Owners Bruce Bayes and his wife Judith have spent over 30 years serving clients throughout Florida; providing custom fit wheelchairs and other complex rehab equipment.

Their clients at Custom Mobility (CMI) require accessible vehicles for safe and independent transportation. By acquiring MITS in 2009, MITS at Custom Mobility now offers the combined expertise in both accessible vehicles and custom adapted wheelchairs.

When a more comprehensive evaluation is required, the ability to draw from staff experience can be beneficial and help in the selection of the most appropriate adapted vehicle.
